Excellent property ! Family friendly .... beautiful pool and beach

If you stay on the beach side then you have a hotel experience and worth the money but if you get put across the street then you just have a motel experience that is expensive. I stayed in room 4208. Most days there was a bad odor from outside I think it may have been close to the sewer treatment area (a guess). Also had to keep the drain plugs closed due to little gnats flying out of it. This hotel does have a very beautiful beach. Staff was very nice. Rooms were clean. Property was neat.

They don’t offer late check-out even though we checked-in so late at night.

We had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton Poipu Beach, Kauai resort for our 30th anniversary. We had a corner guest suite with an amazing ocean view.

Overall the place is a great place to stay. We were disappointed though that our room was in a building across the street next to the construction of the new building, but at least we had a balcony with a partial ocean view. The resort fees charged by many of the hotels is ridiculous. It should just be made part of the regular room charge, not listed separately as though you are getting something special. We were unhappy to pay that since we did not use any of the amenities that it provides.

Inveted by very small insects, looked like small flies. They were every where, Very close to my face and nose. Was very uncomfortable, and antihygegiest.

Room was dark and unpleasant. As a gold member, even though there is newly renovated room available, front desk and manager will not provide complimentary upgrade but rather charge $100 for it. Very disappointed with the hotel stay and will not return or recommend to others.

The staff were all friendly and the food at Lava’s was good. Be sure to book an ocean view room -the sunrise is amazing!

Good value for the price. If you are not going to stay on site, the resort fee does not make sense. If are an adventure freak that leaves early every day and returns after sunset, this is not the place for you. If you take advantage of all the resort has to offer, it is a very reasonable retreat.

I booked a oceanfront room via orbitz and I got a room behind a restaurant. Orbitz told me that there is an ocean in front of my room although I could not see it because of a restaurant infront of my room. This is daylight robbery. When I pay extra for oceanfront room it should be an ocean front room - not a room behind an ocean front restaurant.

We had an excellent vacation staying here! All of The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Location was very close to the beach. Pretty much right on it. Garden view rooms are right across the street from the beach and ocean views are right on it. The Sheraton covers both sides of Hoonani rd. We were going to upgrade to an ocean view but they were unavailable at the time. When we walked around we quickly understood why. Large sections of the ocean views are being upgraded. We would definitely come back again and would recommend staying here which ever room you choose. We look forward checking out an ocean view next time.

We ate at Rum Fire on two occasions and had the best experience with the customer service from Noel. He gave us a lot of wonderful recommendations for good eats and local beaches. The food and drinks were also exceptional.

The Sheraton is in a lovely spot. The hotel makes the best of location: views are appreciated for the main attraction they are. There are fire pits with comfortable rockers for evenings, a lovely place to walk along the ocean, and a delicious restaurant (Rum Fire). There is a Starbucks in the hotel, so if you feel like a light breakfast, it is available. We had a wonderful time and would stay there again.

Great! View from our garden view room had a partial ocean view. Room was comfortable and clean. Great location.

Excellent location with a great beach right on site. Bed was huge and comfy. Good experience.
