First of all, the room is not the one I booked. I booked the "Suite, 1 Bedroom, Kitchenette, Bay View". The pictures from both Orbitz and Hotel show that it is waterfront and has a deck on the water. But when I checked in, the room is totally not the one I booked. None of the things matched to the picture excepts a bay view. We were very very disappointed. I booked the room in Feb 2017 and I checked in at the end of May. I believed that a lot of customers had complained about this issue, and they were definitely not the first time to know the issue. But when I complained to the staff at the front desk, they said they sent the correct pictures to the website and it is totally Expedia's fault. Well, the staff is very friendly and he said he would tried to move us to the waterfront room for some night, but the next day when we went to ask, the lady from the front desk said you got when you paid and if you want to bring this up, call Expedia. I feels like it is a cheating and deceiving behaviors because they replied customers' review but never correct the pictures on Orbitz, Hotel and Expedia websites.(FYI, you have to watched out what you booked because they will play a game on you) Secondly some of the front desk staffs are REALLY rude (especially on Jun 2nd morning). My wife said she want to go home after talking this some front desk staff. Thirdly the room is to old and dirty. We found few different color hair at the bed sheet and pillow.

Away from the hustle and bustle, the hotel staff are very nice. The location while fantastic is quite isolated from dining, shopping and beaches but with a car it is great.

beautiful location the only minus that I would give hot tub is small and hard to step into and neighbor looks a little rough. I would stay hear again

Perfect little retreat - cosy, quiet, tucked away. The setting is gorgeous, with mountain backdrops, sitting right on the bay, and the staff was so friendly and helpful! My mother and I treated ourselves to one night here and had a lovely time.

Friendly staff, super clean room, everything so great I'll come back!!

We paid a little more for a room with a view. It was perfect. Worth it. The parking was okay. Only had one night of trying to find a space. Zip lining is only 5 miles away. Make sure you make reservations. It was a lot of fun. Free kayaking at the resort and also a free breakfast. We didn't eat dinner there but I did hear the live music on Wednesday night. I would recommend this place to people who don't like crowds of people. This will be my to go to place for future visits to Oahu.

a little thrown off at first driving to resort but overall experiance was great, hotel staff was excellent, location is central to activities, and not far from the exotic beaches will stay here again excellent place

The staff was great! We enjoyed every day there. The view was spectacular, and it was away from all the hustle and bustle traffic from waikiki and honolulu. Continental breakfast was there ready for us every morning. I will miss drinking my coffee, and my scrambled eggs while looking out over the bay.

Great boutique resort. The only issue to complain about is the limited and tight parking. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms and very accomadating.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The location if isolated, but it's away from the craziness of Wakiki. I truly enjoyed the canoeing also. The cleaning crew had our room cleaned very well.

Beautiful ocean view from Lobby area but not from every room. Make sure ask front desk.

This was a great place! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The room was a great size and super clean. We had an amazing view of the water from our room and balacony. Loved that they offered water activities for free!! I will definitely come back I loved the intimacy of the resort!

This hotel provides complementary breakfast, internet and parking, but does not locates in Honolulu neighborhood. If you're just trying to find a great place on Oahu island, then this hotel is worth a look.

This is not at all what the pictures show it is on a canal with no nice views of anything the only water you can get to that you would want to get into is the swimming pool. Sits on a brown water canal. The breakfast was good. The room we had was horrible because it was located right below where they had the complimentary breakfast so we awaken everyday at 5am to the sound of feet and slamming doors. Not worth the money

My husband and I came to this hotel for a week because I had an athletic event in the area, and we loved it! The location was very central and we explored the entire island using the resort as our base. The rooms were clean, staff extremely helpful, and scenery gorgeous!

If you're debating whether or not to stay in Waikiki- DONT! We split our time on Oahu between paradise bay and Waikiki and I wish we. Would have stayed here the entire time- location is great to see everything (including an obligatory dinner in Waikiki to people watch). Don't rent paddle boards- the water is shallow and muddy and we kept getting caught in shallow spots and very frustrated. Breakfast is better than a Hampton but still lukewarm waffles, eggs, and stale granola. We got the cheapest room and view was still superb in my opinion. Mountains, greenery, etc- we couldn't see the crystal blue of the lagoon- but there's more to hawaii than ocean views. Staff was perfect. Room very clean- kitchenette was excellent- we cooked dinner in our room each night. Only thing I missed was measuring cups- bring some. We used their grill to make burgers one night- great! Ac in rooms good. Surrounding neighborhood just fine- people complain about it but I thought the homeless on Waikiki beach were worse, come on it's just a local neighborhood!

Large room and comfortable bed. Wonderful breakfast and tasty dinner with good Hawaiian music. A great value away from busy Honolulu.

getting there was an experience (you have to drive through a neighborhood to get to the property but once there the staff is excellent, property has been recently updated (which was great), they have awesome activities including a great dinner on Wednesday & PuPu show on Fridays. A side note; housekeeping comes on MWF only. Overall a great value, location is the only downside--I would most definitely stay at this Resort again. :)

Booked for 5 nights, paying about $300/night. Taken to Rm.26, which has NO view, dark, tiny room. We were totally shocked and seeing us, the manager came up with upgrade, costing on average $40 extra...2 nights here, 2 nights there, 1 night still in another room. The room was much bigger and had a view of the bay, but we can hear the neighbours' conversation so clearly and if someone walks on the floor above, it can wake us up easily. after suffering for 2 nights, we had to find another hotel in Waikiki, which was very difficult and expensive, but better than ruining the whole trip. But again, the staff, every one of them, were very very nice and helpful.

If you want a quiet, restful place to say, this is it! The views are fantastic! Wonderful office staff, very helpful. There needs to be some kind of signage (the smallest possible sign would be helpful), where to turn off of Kamehameha. Once you find the place it is a hidden gem.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry we didn't meet your expectations. We are a very unique boutique resort. Each room has a different layout and charm. We categorize our rooms by view type. I'm happy to hear you received the correct category however we didn't meet your expectations as you were expecting to be on the water. We do have waterfront units designated as such. We are always looking for ways to make better experiences and we have shared your concerns with the staff. I am pleased your were able to enjoy kayaking on the Bay.
