Loved the location! Loved the restaurant, the beautiful lobby with art.

This hotel is a gem. Beautiful location, clean, spacious and beautiful. But the best part was the wonderful, kind service. They helped us plan our day trips, always greeted us with a smile and gave us such a sense of how special Kona is.

Perfect spot to head out each day for your adventure. We would come back in the afternoon and plan where we would go to dinner and just walk there. Plenty of great options for dinner right on the main street. I would stay here again for sure. Hotel is pretty nice and the beach is fine in front of hotel although we really didn't use that.

Great location, friendly staff, clean hotel.

Great hotel to stay, beautiful, clean, in good condition, great bed, ABC store inside, nice view, walking distance to everything. Staff of the hotel is pretty nice, staff of the pool needs improvement, especially a rude towel guy. Food is better in a coffee shop than actual restaurant, and they give you discount $2 per day. Hotel will give you 2 free drinks, you have to use them at the same time, I learned the hard way, you cannot get another one on a different day. Over all great.

Wish parking was a lil cheeper

Elizabeth who checked us in was outstanding. No bell hop and short of staff.I had two different Reservations, one for my wife and I and a late booking for the kids. The hotel was able to put us next to each other. Nice showers. We had a partial ocean view, very partial.small beach front but seemed Adequate. Very good location for restaurants.

The location is amazing! The property is older, but very well maintained. The staff was so friendly!

I loved the wonderful staff and the great location.

Marriott Courtyard King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel. February 17-21, 2020. Room 321 East Bathroom: Average, definitely signs of wear, could use some maintenance. Shower head extremely low. It would be difficult for a tall person to shower. The towels were small and not the usual large towels that most hotels use these days. Bed: A little saggy, seemed old and not the well known Marriott beds that I see in other Marriotts. Room: Large, plenty of space and clean. The TV was very large and nice to watch. The carpet was new and in good condition. The room definitely looked dated in terms of colors and decor. Lanai: Small with two chairs and a small table. No chaise lounge. The room was an oceanview room. Worst view I’ve ever had in a hotel. 95% of the view was the rooftop of the building beside us. There was a peep hole vision of the ocean in the distance. Not a pleasant place to sit. Service: The maids were friendly and pleasant as were the people at the front desk. I could have used more information on the amenities that were available to me like information on wifi, cabana rental etc. Location: Good location in that it is close to the beach and very walkable to the town with lots of shopping and places to eat. Lots of families there and a good place for small children. The place could definitely use some flowers and a little landscaping. Not a hibiscus in sight.

We love all the history of the Hawaiian monarchy displayed and all the other Hawaiian artifacts and displays. The record marlin is awesome, worth way more than a thousand words!

Location location location! Right downtown within walking distance to alot of stuff! The staff really stands out, I don't know where the found so many nice people. We got a newly renovated room in the west building. Hotel parking was very secure.

The hotel is very close to shops and restaurants. The beach is too small, the $25 daily resort fee is ridiculous( This is a hotel, not a resort), the food in the restaurant is not very good and too expensive, the hotel is very dated (Had to ask for a different room upon arrival since it smelled like mold), the rooms and especiallly the bathrooms are way too small, and the beach is super small and crowded.

We enjoyed staying here. However, where you play games, such as ping pong, there was sand in a very large box, I’m not sure what it was for, maybe sandbox for kids. However that area smelled so bad of cat urine, you could not be in there. I saw cat poop in there one morning. Children were walking in the sand. Yuk.
