All was great. There was one staff member that was trying hard sale for us to become Shell customers right after we checked in. We were tired and my husband was handicapped and we just wanted to get to our room. After telling her 5 times we just needed to go, I finally just walked away. Hard sale does not work for most people. It ends up casting a bad light on your staff.

For the price, it is a great deal. Large units with two nice pools. Just be prepared to turn down the Time Share meeting solicitation when you get the pool key and you will have a fabulous time.

Significant water damage in both bathroom, no locks on bathroom doors, walking in barefoot in suite your feet were black within an hour, check-in was painful with high pressure for their time share scheme. The resort was not on the ocean with zero access to the water, nor any view of it. Very deceptive. Does not even deserve 1 star.

What a amazing resort! My husband and I took our 80+ year old parents! They had there own condo and I can't say enough good stuff about this resort! The pool was perfect, the restaurant was delicious, the entertainment was so fun every night, the staff was unbelievable keeping my parents well taking care of and just overall each one of them was the best! It was within walking distance to groceries, tons of restaurants! Couldn't ask for a better lifetime experience for us! And we were so excited the volcano erupted while we were there! Thank u Kona resort! If I could give them a 10 it would be 11!

The room was exceptionally clean and spacious. The kitchen worked well since we did prepare a thanksgiving meal with all the amenities! It became a central hub because of the size. The views were beautiful from the lanai. Friendly staff and when we asked for things for the roomthe were there immediately!! I would recommend this place to anyone!
