I did like the nature of the property, my family and I was close to dining, beach and pool. I didn’t like we didn’t know where everything was, no one at the property gave us information and/or map.

Excellent staff interactions Too far to walk for Uber/rideshare & esp SHUTTLES!!!!! From bus terminal Very little handicap access to get around the property A BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY AMENITIES. Would refer & return soon!!!

We reserved a King with an ocean view. When we arrived they tried to put us in a room with two double beds. It took over an hour for them to finally agree to give us the room we booked. This same thing happened to three other people in our party and other people who were checking in. This is a classic bait and switch. They try to tell you the only king room with an ocean view is an upgrade. I showed them my reservation and they said that was just a suggestion. Careful when booking here as you may not get what you asked for.

Location excellent, properly beautiful, clean, and safe. Did not like that parking fees were not at full disclosure at 60$/day upon check in. Then hotel paperwork indicated was 50. Top it all off it was quite difficult finding a parking spot every single time you would leave and come back. You have an option to not pay for the daily parking fee but then it would be quite difficult to park your car off the premises and walk all the way back to the hotel. So your hands are somewhat tied. Then we arrived at 1:30pm tried to check in early as check in time was 4pm. They said we would have to pay extra 75$. We declined as it was only few hours away. They said we will text you when room ready. They texted us an hour if that later. We also paid for partial ocean view and they tried to sale us to a full view of course for about 75$/day. We were told you barely have a view it’s only a slip you won’t be able to see anything. We still declined and asked well if can’t or barely have any view then give us back the money we paid for and book us for a no view. She said we can’t give the money back. I knew they couldn’t as we booked through Orbitz but I was just trying to make a point, it’s not right to charge people and Really stretch the idea, ripping people off. We got to the room and we had a rarely descent view, again just like trying to get us to pay to check in early when the room was obviously ready. Top it all off, Far as Wi-Fi you had to be a member for free service.

Like the weather. Ocean front room but not really the beach too busy and rocky.

Taupa Towers was very nice i paid abd asked for full ocean view room and it was a partial so ineed to be refunded the difference

The only place to stay in Waikiki! It has everything, great pools, food, entertainment, shopping, rooms etc! Can’t wait to go back!

Liked the pools, beach. We thought that security or some other staff should be at pools once in a while - lot of kids being left unsupervised.

So much to see and do. The beach was fantastic. Easy to get a perfect spot on the sand. Staff was more then accommodating. Just a great week here. Couldn’t be happier.

The facility is Huge! Checking in a nightmare. The lines are so long it look over an hour. But checking went fine. Now the room, it was big really old. The smell as soon as you walk in was horrible. Smelled like wet mildew! Even if you open the sliding door the Oder didn’t leave. Asked for a room change and I was denied. Now the valet parking, we pulled up and no one came to talk to us about our vehicle. I had to get out and let them know I wanted to valet my vehicle. Then the guy gets in the car while we remove our luggage and didn’t even help. Next when we tried to take onto car that took forever. People where just sitting around talking to each other not trying to make any eye contact.

Family friendly resort with excellent landscaping and pools for kids to swim in. Right by the beach. Interiors were dated and some paint peeling off. Checkin process was extremely slow, with a 45 min wait

It was nice view and close to airport

This was my first trip to Oahu. I have had the pleasure of visiting Maui and Kauai multiple times. This was nothing like that. Do not stay here, or at least be warned…. I have never in my life had such a terrible experience. If you are looking for a Costco Beach Vacation, with an over filled resort, then this might be for you. If you love crowds, and lines, definitely consider staying here. When I arrived at the hotel, there had to have been SEVERAL HUNDRED people in line. I’ve never even seen such a line, not even in Vegas. After standing in said line for over an hour and a half, I got my room. Do not stay in the Diamond Head tower. Whatever you do, just don’t. It’s dated, and gross. They also put me directly next to an elevator. After standing in line for an hour again, because of course they don’t have anyone to take a call and move me, I paid hundreds more and moved to the Rainbow Tower. It’s nicer. Surely things would look up from here… Nope. Pay $80/day to valet. Fine. That would be fine. Except each time I needed my car I had to retrieve it myself. There were probably 30-40 cars ahead of me. And no where near enough staff to get the cars. If you have nothing to do but wait in lines, you might think this is okay. There are so many people everywhere you go here. Want a Starbucks? Queue up In a line that’s 60 people long. Attending the luau or fireworks? Hope you love cramming in with all of humanity.

Our room smelled like urine and the floor had wet spots when we checked in.

On arrival, long lines for check in, approx. 1 hour. The bed pillows are too small for the bed sizes. The hydraulic arm to slowly close the main bed room doors are in need of replacement as the doors slam shut if not held while closing, dangerous for small children and wakes you up in the moddle of the night when your neighbors turn in late. Where the outside Aloha sign is on the grass, should be replaced with artificial turf as yhe grass is worn and muddy for visitors, seen from balconies looking down. Other than those few things the property is extremely large which leaves it vulnerable for transients vrs smaller properties that are more intimate for privacy. Overall, nice property.

Plenty to do onsite, lots of dining options and shopping.

We simply love everything about the place it was an amazing experience. Thankyou so much🙏🙏♥️

For the cost of the amenities, I had higher expectations. For example, the room trash cans are quite small and yet housekeeping comes every 4-5 days unless you make a special request. The check in process is quite slow which can be extremely frustrating after the long flights required to reach Hawaii. The pool hours were shorter than I had anticipated and the pool slides had very limited hours, these were features that contributed to our choice in hotel so it was frustrating to learn the slides were each only open for 2-3 hours each day. While we enjoyed the location and the ability to walk to many places, I generally felt another hotel with slightly less offerings in a similar location would likey be less costly and equally as accommodating.
