Room and Resort was spotless, beautiful Resort to enjoy your time in Waikiki. Staff was helpful and very courteous. I would highly recommend this Resort and we will definitely be staying here again.

The staff was very accommodating at check-in. They did let us know that our room was being worked on currently and the balconies were not available to use as we have booked, we were…Quite disappointed. I called in advance, assured that they moved me to a different tower where there was painting going on and there would be no noise disturbances. They gave us loud and unprofessional workers. at certain times our complete view of the ocean was blocked by black tarp that was placed over our windows. They were updating the balconies and in doing so they were jackhammering this cement on each balcony one by one, including ours. It was so loud that we had to flee the room for a few days, really disappointed in the construction in lack of communication about it other than that Honolulu itself, was, gorgeous, crawling with tourists, unlike some of the other islands. I visited such as Kauai and z Kona. I’d skip the Honolulu and go somewhere more and quiet such as Kuai. I’ve never had a single complaint about one of the smaller islands, just pure a lot beauty, unadulterated, beaches, with only a handful of people bc. Also, the construction wasn’t confined to the rooms. It was everywhere all over the hotel. I realize they may need an upgrade, but it was very disappointing.

Room was in good condition and the staff on site were wonderful. The problem that neither Marriott or Expedia disclosed that the hotel would be under construction during our stay. It wasn't until we arrived that we found this out. We have a family member with asthma and impact from construction dust or other issues affect her. We do not understand why guests were not notified of the construction during booking and rates adjusted accordingly based on parts of the hotel being closed.

Our room was clean. Slept comfortably as well. Was a bit disappointed with the location of our room. Would have enjoyed a nicer view. All we were able to see was the roof top and parking lot area.

Our 2 night stay was amazing! The room was so clean! Staff was very helpful, when we checked out we didn’t have to be at the airport until 9pm they gave us a key card to use the bathroom and get clean towels for the beach. Best last day!

Room was great except for the noise from the daily Luau and Luau practice which lasted 4-5 hours every night. When added to the noise from the balcony work from 9-4 and potential for workers to look right into your hotel room as they went up and down - it ended up being anything but peaceful. As far as the room itself goes: spotless, friendly staff and great service. Valet was super nice as well although we did not end up using the car as much as we thought we would. Great for getting up to the north side, kualoa ranch etc, there's plenty to do right outside the hotel (beach resort and all) they even have some free rentals for the beach which was overly crowded. Overall a great find just very noisy on the 10th floor and balcony repairs! They did waive the resort fees but the trip was not worth the resort fees/ relaxation - would consider elsewhere if you are trying to relax on your trip. Pool and spa were ok :) ocean is better next door!

Our stay was amazing. The room was very clean. The bed, pillows and shower were amazing! The location of the hotel was in the perfect spot. The pool was a good size and the hot tub was so nice!
