Loved the gym. Best hotel gym I’ve ever been in. Moana terrace is awesome too.

We weren't fully informed (prior to our stay) of how the construction would affect us (during our stay). e.g., the noise and water

View was outstanding, and the staff was great and friendly

We booked this hotel via Orbitz and were excited for a hotel located on Waikiki Beach with ocean views. Upon checking into our room, we were HIGHLY disappointed when we opened our door and found a very dated room that did not match the photos online, at all. When we asked the hotel, we were informed that half of the hotel is renovated and half is not. We were in the un-renovated tower and it was an additional $175/night to get the room we thought we had booked in the beginning. We honestly debated cancelling our reservation and finding a new hotel, but we were there during a peak time, and there was nothing else available. We paid for the upgrade, because we refused to stay in the old room. Due to the renovations there is also a lot of construction noise during the day. There was only one pool open, and it was quite small. While you can see Waikiki Beach from the hotel, it is across the street and public access. I did not feel comfortable leaving my belongings on the beach while getting into the ocean.

This closed to everything around Waikiki a few minutes walk to all the shopping and the beach right at the door step

Staff was very nice. Beds are way too small and lots of construction going on. Food was not good.

I’ve enjoyed staying here before. This time they were conducting construction which I was not made aware of before we came. They would jackhammer so loud you could not think inside the room. They would jackhammer early in the morning so sleeping in was out. The hot tub was not functioning and navigating the property was difficult. They used to give you drink coupons, not anymore. They basically charge more for extremely less. I’m a loyal Marriott customer but this was bad.

Our first trip - Great location, friendly staff. Parking was a bit tougher to maneuver- other than that, great hotel.

The place and all people working there. Lots of resort activities

My husband and I stayed here in July 2019 and our stay was honestly perfect! We stayed in a beachfront room in the Kealohilani Tower (which is the newly remodeled tower) and the rooms and view were perfect! The hotel itself is also beautiful and the service was outstanding. We booked multiple tours throughout our stay and they all conveniently picked us up from the hotel. Waikiki beach is literally right across the street. The only thing I do wish is that the breakfast buffet in the Kuhio Beach Grill was better. I would definitely just try to avoid it because it wasn't worth the amount of money that we paid for it.

The convenience and availability of goods and food

I loved the resort activities! They allowed me to make and take souvenirs that will keep Oahu near.

Very convenient to go to the beach. Staff was friendly.
