Room was great except for the noise from the daily Luau and Luau practice which lasted 4-5 hours every night. When added to the noise from the balcony work from 9-4 and potential for workers to look right into your hotel room as they went up and down - it ended up being anything but peaceful. As far as the room itself goes: spotless, friendly staff and great service. Valet was super nice as well although we did not end up using the car as much as we thought we would. Great for getting up to the north side, kualoa ranch etc, there's plenty to do right outside the hotel (beach resort and all) they even have some free rentals for the beach which was overly crowded. Overall a great find just very noisy on the 10th floor and balcony repairs! They did waive the resort fees but the trip was not worth the resort fees/ relaxation - would consider elsewhere if you are trying to relax on your trip. Pool and spa were ok :) ocean is better next door!

Hotel was clean and visually appealing. Staff was nice. There was construction during the day, but it didn't really bother us. Literally across the street from the beach, which was a big deal. Overall a great time

Overall the staff are excellent the room was clean. The only curse is in my have is the the amenities are really non-existent other than a pool. They charge a resort fee there should be a game room or other activities.

Room and resort was great! Very breezy, close to the action, and beautiful views. Hotel also has tons of amenities and the staff was so kind—not a surprise for the people of Hawaii. The only downside to my experience was the construction. Luckily the workers were off for the weekend, but we were unable to go out on the balcony—-such a bummer in an ocean view room. There’s construction happening in the lobby of the Keokailani Tower as well (I know I spelled it completely wrong lol), so it’s a lot of weaving around tarps that take away from the experience. I didn't get a timetable on how long the construction will last, so I would check before booking if you feel like it would interrupt your experience. I will say because of the inconvenience they upgraded my room and waived the resort fees. And you’ll spend so much time at the beach, on Kalakaua Street, or enjoying the amenities of the resort that you’ll hardly notice!

View from. My room…I had to take these pics inside because the balcony wasn’t accessible due to construction. You can see the edges of the balcony, the railings, and the rope showing the construction. But still a beautiful view!
