One block away from Kalākaua behind the Hyatt. It’ll get a tad bit noisy depending on where your room faces but bring some ear plugs and you’ll be fine. The staff were seriously one of the nicest I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. The free coffee and laundry made the entire stay well worth it.

Location and price are 5 star worthy. You are getting what you pay for, though. Room is fair. Bathroom is mediocre, except for the shower, which is pretty bad. Hot water takes 5 minutes to come on in the morning. The shower head is too low and puts out very little pressure. I would have still rated the hotel 4/5, but for the mold in the shower. It’s all over the tiles and grout. I was literally able to wipe and scrape it off with my finger. This is inexcusable. Very poorly cleaned. Room 502 if the hotel is interested in fixing these issues.

For me as long as the room, sheets, towels, and bathroom are clean then I consider it a good hotel to stay for the price. The room was only where I slept and to get ready so I wasn’t looking for a lot of amenities. Staff was pleasant and helpful when I had questions. It was a plus that the room did not have a musty, damp smell like other hotels.

Room was good. Staff were friendly. Only downside is parking gets full there. They only have maybe 7 spots in an underground garage for their hotel. You’ll have to go to another parking garage.

Didn't appreciate sharing the room with cockroaches. Didnt appreciate having the room sprayed for bugs while i was in it. Paid for resort fees with no resort amenities. Very small room. Balcony was the only plus. Wouldn't stay again.

The laundry did meet my needs. The room was pretty clean. It was close to the beach. They gave you towels and chairs for the beach it was close to a abc store the front desk was were helpful

The staff were great, the suite spotless, the location is a short walk to the main beach in Waikiki. This was my third time at STAY Waikiki over the last 20 years. Just a few heads up - STAY use an app based TV service which I find clunky -2- the resort fee among the lowest in town which you will be charged on check-in. If you happen to be a foreigner the exchange can be jarring as I was unable to pay U.S. Cash which I had. A lot of businesses have gone cashless on the island. STAY compromised a bit- Thank You.

Everything was great except for the noise at night. There are no windows on the rooms, just plastic blinds. You can hear everything on the busy street at night including cars, motor bikes and music bars in the area. We were also hearing load construction in the neighbouring building every morning.

Was ok but my room had no view was frosted glass and no balcony. Was above average noisy. I would stay here again if I had a better room with a balcony
