The reason to stay at this hotel is the location. It is directly across the street from the ocean. But this come at a price. Not just monetarily. The windows are old and the street below was loud even on the 14th floor. Cars, music, megaphone preachers are heard until late into the evening. The rooms are dated, but the bed is comfortable. Pay for a room with a view, the sunset is worth it. And get up early for sunrise on floor 17, it is beautiful watching the sun peak around diamond head. It is a very quick drive to UH. But parking is horribly expensive.

I forgot my purse in the safe in my room 514. I called a few hours after to advise that I had forgotten it and the front desk advised me that they would notify the manager of housekeeping to check. When my purse was picked up $100 was missing from it. There was $1500 in my purse and only $1400 in it. The housekeeping manager said she had opened the safe while security stood at the door and she brought the purse downstairs to front desk. When the purse was picked up Ryan at front desk took forever to get it from the back room and then when advised that $100 was missing he said that the hotel had no policy to lodge a complaint and that a police report had to be filed. I have filed a report but am extremely disgusted by the lack of customer service exhibited by Ryan and his very suspicious behavior when returning my purse. It is not so much about the $100 but the principle. I fully trust housekeeping did nothing wrong. It was when my purse was given to the front desk that the discrepancy occurred. I will advise all family and friends to avoid this hotel at all costs as they seem to have dishonest unhelpful employees.

I would have given a 4.5 if I could. The corner lanai with ocean view was wonderful and being right across the boulevard from the ocean made for amazing sunsets and sunrises to watch! The room was a bit smaller than anticipated, but still comfortable. Overall, the friendly staff, convenient location, and amazing views were the best and made our stay enjoyable. The room was a bit run down (e.g., thinner walls, so can hear traffic below, construction in the neighboring lot, shower didn't really get cold when we wanted it to, mini fridge a little warmer than what would be expected), but being so close to things made it workable. They also offered an option to rent a car by the hour, so the few trips we wanted to do outside of a tour bus and walking were fairly easy to do, without the hassle of parking fees. Amenities were perfect, as well. Would recommend this hotel, for sure, overall!

Perfect location. Stunning views.

We loved the Park shore. The location is absolutely perfect and i couldn't get enough of tge view from our courner room its was breathtaking. The room decor is a tad our dated but tje bed was comfortable and room was clean and the view mads up for a modern room in busier bit of town. We would definitely stay here again. The coffee in the foyer every morning and the suncream were awesome.

I really enjoyed my stay at Park Shore Waikiki. The room was nice, quiet, and had a beautiful ocean view. The location is excellent, with many restaurants and ABC Stores nearby, and the beach is right across the street. The hotel also provides beach towels and a variety of helpful services, which made my stay even more convenient. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend it.

Needs an Update

The stay overall was good and the service was friendly. The hotel lobby is modern and updated, which makes a great first impression when you walk in. However, once you head up to the rooms, it feels misleading. The elevators and rooms are outdated, the beds had tears, and the furniture is in need of replacement. On the positive side, it was quiet and very convenient to everything. With some updates to match the lobby, this hotel could be much better.

Rooms were pretty clean. Hotel staff was very friendly. The hotel was right across the street from the beach. Would definitely go back again.

Wonderful Place to Stay

Wonderful place to stay. Dropped daughter off for college in Hawaii. This hotel was a perfect place because it is close to UH. Ocean view room was spectacular! We were gone most of the days but room was very comfortable to come back and rest. Beds were comfortable. This is our go to place when we come visit. Front desk was always super nice and welcoming!
