The reason to stay at this hotel is the location. It is directly across the street from the ocean. But this come at a price. Not just monetarily. The windows are old and the street below was loud even on the 14th floor. Cars, music, megaphone preachers are heard until late into the evening. The rooms are dated, but the bed is comfortable. Pay for a room with a view, the sunset is worth it. And get up early for sunrise on floor 17, it is beautiful watching the sun peak around diamond head. It is a very quick drive to UH. But parking is horribly expensive.

I have stayed here before and like to return because of the location near the beach and the ease of driving or riding away from the property without traffic. The street and pier scene seems to be busier or noiser on this visit. Oh well, mahalo Park Shore!
