Booked months in advance thru Orbitz. Upon checking in, the receptionist said they are full and have to move us to a sister hotel due to new government legislation to limit guests. Did not receive any prior notification regarding the transfer neither from them or Orbitz. What an unexpected surprise especially for our first ever trip to Hawaii.

Although the property may be a bit outdated it served our family size well. We absolutely loved being here! Thank you for all the Aloha during our Vacay!

It is fit all my family need, good location. good service. need staff to teach you how to use the cable TV.

Tennis and basketball quart. Need way better beds.

CONS: 1. the room was very dated 2. one of the lamp shades was hanging on for dear life 3. we called for towels 2x & never received it 4. we were supposed to get a room w/ a queen bed & a sofa bed & we just got the queen bed w/ just a regular sofa 5. the tv only faces the living room & cant be viewed at all from the actual bedroom PROS: 1. parking was only $80 for the entire week (7days) 2. AC was nice & cold 3. full kitchen 4. 2 blocks from Waikiki Beach 5. close to Kalakaua & Kuhio with all the restaurants & shops 6. the view of the city was awesome (stayed on the 23rd floor) 7. elevators came fast Ive stayed at Banyan before & that room was amazing, but this time around the room was ehhhh..so very outdated & was kinda “ghetto” but it was ok for something i got last minute. I would stay there again if i was able to get a room in Tower 1 (facing the beach) or a renovated/updated room. I rate this stay 3/5, but my 1st time I stayed here i rated it 5/5.

The property wasn't as it was described in pictures! Everything was old and dirty, there was holes in the couches, the carpet was wet! The stove was from 60's

FRONT DESK WAS VERY FRIENDLY. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. THE ROOM WAS SPACIOUS ENOUGH AND LOVE THE OUTDOOR POOL DECK AREA,, LOTS TO DO.... SECURITY WERE KIND AND POLITE.....PRETTY SAFE PLACE TO BE

We booked a deluxe oceanview unit. On the website, it shows a nice modern unit, however, when we checked in, the unit we got was horrible. The bedroom wall was covered with old mirrors. Kitchen cabinets had numerous chips. The sofa looks old and dirty. To get the ocean view, you have to look to the right or the left because in front, all you see is a giant building. We believe this is false advertising, they should not have shown their nicest unit to make people think that’s what they’ll get when they book. Also their oceanview should be advertised as a partial oceanview unit. We really wanted to cancel when we first walked in the room, but we know they would not have given us a refund. So, we tried to make the best of it. Orbitz please stop allowing them to post just a picture of their nicest unit, have them post some of their bad ones too. Have a caveat statement saying that when people book, they might not get the room as advertised.

Very close to all the local attractions! Restaurants, the beach and shopping app in close proximity.

The bedroom was cramped with a king and twin blow up mattress, still a nice room. Had a kitchen and a sitting area. 3 blocks from Waikiki beach and shopping area.

I would stay here again. Room was bright and clean, beds were reasonably comfortable. Our room had the kitchenette which was supplied with appropriate cookware/utensils. Afternoon sun would heat the room up so drapes had to be closed. Nice view of the ocean even though we were not on the 'ocean' side. Not happy with the room charge for local newspaper, phone and internet however, internet worked fine, newspaper was not something I would normally pay for or expect. Staff support was good when we needed things, towels for the beach, etc. 2 minor issues-1) the door track for the bedroom privacy is a trip hazard but there is nothing that can be done due to design of door hardware and cement floor underneath.2) elevators, 1 was broken for <24 hrs but all elevators had doors that did not remain open long enough for all people to enter/exit. other times the doors closed way to fast-strange....

Showing it's age. Staff not proactive and somewhat lacksidasical about their duties. Furnishings in unit not comfortable. Bed, terrible.

The room needed deep cleaning. Also a really bad wet dog smell on 23rd floor especially at our room at night. Carpets in hallway looked really dirty. Hotel was great area.

the staff (philipino) very friendly. Good deal. Has everything we need in the room. Very pleasant👍👍👍

We had NO idea the pool and hot tub were shut down. The pool opened mid week and the hot tubs never. They agreed to adjust the $25.00/night amenity fee to zero as we argued we were not informed and could have come another week with our kids. We only had 2 days of our 6 there with the pool, and not time at the hot tubs. Otherwise it was nice to have good internet, working air conditioning, and good elevator work from our 24th Floor and 29th floor rooms.
