Front desk very nice and informative amenities are very nice to bad only staying one night

Staff tried to be friendly, but weren’t clear that due to COVID rooms weren’t being cleaned on a daily basis. No one explained what to do with overflowing garbage cans or how to get more toilet paper or more towels. It should be easier to do these things. Instead I had to go down to the front desk and ask. We were booked for 4 nights with 3 people in the room. Hotel staff could’ve anticipated that we’d run out of essentials.

i don't have good experience with the hotel

Hotel is old, not even close as pictures they showed, however, the front dest and valet is very nice. They only have valet parking though, prepare to pay 43$ per stay

Staff was excellent, but hotel room cleanliness was opposite. Room floor was damp and left our feet visually dirty after walking around an hour, there was a mask from a previous guest left behind the media console, bathroom had poor ventilation and always had water drops accumulating from the ceiling. But the absolute worst was when I saw a roach crawl out from behind the media console and run across the counter space (and near our masks!) After showing video of the roach, they moved us to the 10th floor where it was better the last two days of our stay. During these rough times, I value hotel cleanliness more than anything and chose Hotel LaCroix due to Orbitz high ratings. Unfortunately my experience on that front was disappointing. The front desk staff was always nice and friendly to us, which I did appreciate.

Staff was extremely friendly and location was perfect if you want to be slightly off the path of the busy/touristy parts of Waikiki!

We were really disappointed for a 3.5-4 stars hotel! The room, pool, gym were smaller than we were expected! Parking was awful and we had to pay $35/day to not get a spot or they asked us to park by ambassador hotel, which is at the end of the street! They used the CDC guidelines in order to reduce their service! CDC guideline says:” house keeping must be requested from the guests and not be done everyday”, but their rules says:”house keeping can be requested every 7days”!!! We stayed their for 8 days and we couldn’t get one time house keeping until the last day, based on their rules!!!! You can imagine a hotel in a beach city, how looks like a room after third or fourth days!! We asked them for cleaning after the third day and they rejected, after a negotiation with receptionist, we could get our house keeping on fourth days instead of last day, but anyway we had only one time house keeping during 8 days stay! We had three vacation during last year, which was harder, but the hotel services were much better than this hotel! The amenities of room were in lowest level as the same as maybe one or two stars hotel! They didn’t have even at least an iron in the room. Today, if you go to a 3 stars hotel, they have everything even coffee makers etc, but this “4stars hotel” doesn’t have the basic amenities! Room was very old, drawers were partially broken, bathroom very dirty and old and you could find died bugs everywhere (I have the pictures of everything and can send them to you)

We booked the hotel based off of not having resort fees. Not only was that a fal

Second time staying, for the price it’s a 10 out of 10 compared to other places

Hotel was very easy to get in and out of and was very helpful and accommodating during our stay.

La croix location is nice it’s just at the beginning of the strip. It has also been slightly remodeled and still work in progress. I love the pool here only bad thing is a lot of chlorine. Your eyes burn all day after being in the pool. FYI if you book thru orbitz it doesn’t include the hidden taxes and parking! Parking here is $35 if booked thru a 3rd party like orbits if you book direct parking is $20 plus tax which is $20.94. You will also be charged tourist tax on top of your rate as well. So overall your not paying just the rate. Also keep in mind all hotels charge different security deposits. Some charge per day you stay and some it’s flare rate per stay. For this place it’s $200 a stay not per night. Also not all rooms come with microwave or room phones. So at this hotel we text a number with requests and they do their best to accommodate. With all the fees they charge they should have microwaves in each room! One thing I like for sure here is the elevators work fast. Other hotels I’ve been too their elevators are outdated or take a while to get from destination to destination. Staff here is pretty good too, not one disappoint me during our stay. Rooms are good size. Overall I’ll be coming back here in the future

Hotel was fairly clean. I love the infinity pool. There was no microwave in our room so that was a let down. Due to covid, we didn’t have any cleaning service because we stayed less than 3 days 🙁 Other than that the view was great, and the location is convenient to stores and restaurants. The staff is friendly.

We had a good stay in this hotel. Breakfast, staff and service are very good, location is ok (two blocks from beach and fancy stores/restaurants) and room was ok too. Hotel looks a bit old.

Cute. Quaint. Great location. Under renovation. Pool is cute/small nice... Hot tub was dirty and low on water. 3rd floor close to road.. room felt like we were in a basement. Cool happy hour. The renovation will be nice when done I'm sure... I like the retro feel. Hotel is old so slow elevators. Its a cute small hotel. With tons of potential To be even better. ABC and bus right there.pretty good for price.

This is an older hotel that has had the rooms partially remodeled. But it still is an old hotel. I had problems with my electricity and it turned out it was a breaker. The last day I was there two of the three elevators were under repair. An okay location and the hotel is okay if you can get it at a good rate.
