Great location on calm beach. Swimming , snorkeling, kayak, paddle board , and sea turtles right there. No waves, so no boogie boarding or surfing. Very quiet complex with marriot next door, as well as the shops at Wailea, and safeway 6 minutes away. Full kitchen, patio with grill, two small pools (never crowded). The gym was not useful at all.
Beautiful well maintained grounds. Fantastic beach for sunning swimming and snorkeling. Best snorkeling I have ever done in Hawaii.
It felt like home. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. We will likely book the same trip next year.
The 1 bedroom condo was more than I needed. It was clean and comfortable. There were extra beach towels and chairs and coolers available. Honestly, I hardly used the room and it was much nicer than I needed, but it was by far the least expensive option for me without going to Kihei. Its a nice, quiet comfortable community. My only wish is that I had been closer to the beach. I was furthest away which is a substantial walk but for the price it was phenomenal.
We have stayed here 9 consecutive years for good reason: Total escape from daily stress in a truly magnificent location.
Our comfortable and clean two bedroom/two bath condo was perfect for our family vacation. + close to beach and walking trail + two pools at complex + large deck for viewing the ocean over a beverage + crib rental availability + walking distance to shops, restaurants and resorts - some construction noise from new resort property
We had never stayed on the Wailea side before and I chose the Elua for its proximity to the ocean. We were happily pleased with the check-in, the very friendly staff and the accomodations. Our condo was beautiful, spotless and had a view of the ocean. We were close to the pool & exercise room that was small but had top of the line equipment. The grounds were impeccably kept. The concierge found us an off- site massage place that was more affordable than going to a large hotel spa. The only complaint I have is that the gardeners start at 7:00 in the morning with their mowers, edgers and blowers. We were woken up every morning with endless noise. We complained and the property mgr. told us they couldn't do anything about it because it was handled by the HOA. They said they would forward our complaint to them. When we walked on the beach path past the other condos & hotels one morning, I saw the gardening staff at each resort also working so they are all on the same time schedule. I think it just depends where your location is within the complex. That being said, I still would stay here again. I thought the whole area was beautiful.
