Family hotel with lazy river and slides that are simply perfect. The sand beach connected to the lazy river is a safe / fun place for kids to play together. The add on charges for everything are annoying. $50 per day to park?

For the amount of money you spend you expect perfection. In our room, there was black mildew in the shower stall, all over it. There was no fan to clear out the steam. The tub was from the 90s and our daughter loves baths so I chose that over the shower for her but still didn’t feel good about bathing her in it. Food is very expensive on the property and it isn’t that good. You’ll probably save money renting a car, paying the required valet fee of $40/day (no self parking) and driving out to Kihei or to the nearby Wailea restaurants. Uber is also an option. Monkeypod and Paia Fish Market are great. 808 deli for lunch. Foodland for snacks and alcohol, mixers. Room comes with a fridge. Cocktails on the property start at $18, beer around $10. But is poolside so there’s that. We brought an insulated water bottle and made our own in the room. The property is huge so be prepared to walk, which isn’t a bad thing if you’re up for it, which we were. The gardens are gorgeous and the pools, slides, and beach are why you should stay here. You won’t get better anywhere else as far as resorts go. Hopefully you will explore Maui’s other beaches too - they all have a special beauty unique to their location. Besides the pools, the staff are kind, so be kind and respectful to them. I saw some guests treat them like crap. They work hard- some walking over 10 miles a day just to do their work! Overall just be mindful of the above and stay there for the pools. Mahalo.

The staff were all amazing! Great facilities, service and amazing beach!

Outstanding resort! 5 star all the way! The resort is beautiful and the staff are very professional and friendly! Will DEFINITELY come again!

Very beautiful property. Nice and peaceful stay. Definitely recommend it!!!

The resort, it's location and staff are outstanding. The facility and pools are showing their age, but this was the only issue we noted. We cannot wait to get back.

No complaints about anything. Great staff and amenities.

It should have had more mediocre shops/gift shops.

It is a high end classy hotel that definitely comes with a price tag yet worth the cost.

Best resort ever! We enjoyed every minute of our stay! It was breathtaking!

Nice property. Good luau, nice size room, great service from bellman and poolside drinks. Room for improvement in check in process (took over 30 minutes) and grotto bar—only one bartender and huge crowd so never got served. Also they need to figure out a new system for verifying drinking age—perhaps when wristbands are given out as they demanded ID even when in pool. Overall, a nice property with lots of amenities.

Incredible views from the pool and the rooms. Impeccable service at every level from check in, concierge, pool attendants, activities staff, and restaurants staff as well. They have thought of adding every luxury to make your stay comfortable and relaxing.

The resort was fantastic. Grounds beautiful with 9 swimming pools. Had a tremendous view fro our room.

Property has all the 5 star amenities we were searching for. We had told them about our anniversary and was immediately upgraded to a ocean view room. The staff was very helpful but not overbearing. One of the best trips and resorts of my life!
