The online photos appear that the facility is updated, but the fabric on the entrance chairs could use a deep clean as well as the carpets. The sheets have yellowing stains, while they seemed clean. I contemplated changing rooms (one night stay only and I already moved rooms once due to the heat not working), but I figured the sheets in our current room, both sets being dingy, probably meant the rest were of the same standard. There is a Springhill nearby with comparable pricing. Springhill, in my experience operates with a higher standard of cleanliness, but I did not stay there so I can't speak on it. This was my first time staying at a Wyndham. I was also nervous about food handling cleanliness of the breakfast just due to my reservations about the lack of an overall hotel cleanliness standard.

We stayed for one night and it was the worst hotel experience we have ever had . People tried to break into our room. Past midnight. I have a 2 yr old abd a 5 yr old and they did not feel safe. The hotel did not refund our money or help us in any way. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE

Will not stay again

When we made the reservation, we requested conjoining rooms. Upon arrival, our rooms were not conjoined even though each room had the option. The rooms were dirty, we found trash under the chairs, behind the tv stand and couch. The pool hours say it’s open until 10pm, they started having people getting out at 8:30 and turned off the lights at 9pm. The pool itself was not very clean and the area where the pool was at, was way too chilly. Breakfast didn’t get over until 9am, they started putting everything away at 8:20am.

Second time staying here. One of the better cheaper hotels in the area. Only thing was the heat to the lobby but not be working as it was super cold downstairs. The rooms were clean and warm and cozy.

Okay on a budget, but not the best.

The hours of the pool were changed when we got there, which was the only reason we selected this hotel. Also, the room smelled gross and the air conditioning was either freezing or horribly hot and a very noisy unit. We used to love this hotel, but hadn't traveled in a while. Wow, we were shocked with how much things had changed. It was a decent kid friendly hotel for a reasonable price, I just really wish the pool would have been open like it was supposed to. Breakfast was completely empty, but they did end up refilling most things for us.

The elevator quit working the first day, the carpet on the stairs was full of stains. The pool closes at 9 pm. The staff would be on their personal phones while you were checking in/out. The room had no 'Do not disturb' sign. I asked for more pillows and one of the staff gave me the creepy vibes. He was leaning over to see if anyone else was in the room. I don't even want to think about what would have happened if my husband wasnt in the room watching TV. They have a sign on the front desk saying if any item was missing from the room you would be charged for items, kind of hard to keep track of the towels in the room if each day there was a different amount of washclothes/hand/body each day

I didn't like the pool area so much because it was cold in there. It was well kept however and my grandsons loved it. So that's what was important to me. Everyone was so very nice and the Continental breakfast was pretty good as well. We had a wonderful stay and the location was very convenient to many things. I was there for the Hallmark Christmas Experience and found our accommodations not far at all from those activities.
