Cool property with a great location. Check in wasn’t in the best mood and not told what charge was for valet.
Comfortable beds, well decorated and excellent service.
Great shower and comfy bed. Close to the Power and Light District.
Front desk was quick to check in and semi friendly only. Room was fabulous. Bar at Reserve was excellent.
We stayed here a couple of nights over spring break to attend two concerts at the Sprint Center which was just a short walk down the street. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
My wife and I stayed at the Ambassador Hotel for our wedding anniversary and had one of the best experiences we can remember. The staff at this hotel works as a team, and every hand off in service, or assistance was perfect! The hotel is beautifully appointed and is located close to everything, so if you can do walking a few blocks it's no problem.. If you need a ride the car service is great and our driver Bert, was simply awesome! Great experience!
We stay at the Ambassador for one night when we went to the chargers vs. chiefs game at arrowhead stadium. We would definitely return here!! We stayed in a corner suite and it was everything we expected. Everything was amazing and the room was perfect and very clean condition. Very nice bathroom and shower too. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking is directly next to the building and I think is $18 for length of stay. Which had we known this, we would have parked there immediately. Parking lot was hard to notice when we drove by the first time so we ended up parking in a garage further away and walked with our luggage. Would definitely recommend parking in hotel parking, definitely worth it! The location is basically 2 blocks from the front of power and light.. so location wise if you are looking to stay in that area it is perfect!!! Wish it would not have been soo cold (December 27th 2014) otherwise you could walk to everything! Great spot! And only about a 10 minute drive to arrowhead. Wonderful hotel! Hope to return for longer next time!
Very friendly staff, complimentary water in rooms, comfy beds, nice and quiet
Nice hotel, clean Only reason I rated it slightly low is due to how noisy it was right above my room. I think I may have been directly under a service area. Ask to stay above the second floor
Easy parking, easy check in, limo service, clean rooms, nice bathrooms, great location, easy checkout. Good for those going to Sprint Center or Power and Light district. Very romantic time away!
My boyfriend and I were attending a concert downtown KC the night before the 4th. We checked into the hotel with super friendly and helpful staff. They informed us there was a complimentary shuttle service that would drop us off anywhere we liked! We ended up walking back at the end of the night, hitting up Power and Light since it was in such a great location. Great room, great staff, would come back in a hearbeat.
Sirens and cats kept is awake all night. The breakfast was overpriced and not worth it.
We usually travel to Kansas City a few times a year, and this will be our new hotel. The location is great and the style of the hotel fits our taste. The walk in walk-in shower was very nice...
i have only bad thing to tell about this hotel. Ther was no m icrowave in room and when i asked they were not able to arrange till the checkout. room was n ot clean. There were previous occupant undergarments in the room and when i called they simply said thanks for letting us know. No complimentary breakfast.when asked why,the answer was its a LUXURY Hotel.I did n ot find luxury anywhere. very understaffed.the person who is at frontdesk will also be doing the room service. wasnt worth the price i payed for the room. will not rtecommend it.
Stayed here this past weekend for a holiday weekend getaway and to attend a KC Chiefs game. Was overally impressed with all aspects of the hotel, although can't say I took full advantage of it all. Was a bit noisey, especially when nearby rooms shut their doors or rather let them close everything on the adjoining wall seemed to shake, otherwise no complaints. Wouldn't have a issue considering this place for future visit
Such a beautiful hotel! A block away from power and light. The room was exactly like the picture. The staff was so polite. The only downfall was you had to pay to park in their gated parking lot, but it was a one time fee so it was fine. And they had no pop machine! So we ended up paying 3 dollars for a can of coke. But overall it was such a lovely overnight stay. The bed was like a cloud and the bathroom was so spacious! I will be going back
What can I say besides phenomenal. Would highly recommend if you want a quality night out with the lady. Right in the heart of power and light, walking distance to everything down there, and hotel staff was great.
The hotel was fabulous and the room was well above expectations. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Room service food was prompt and tasted great. The one major downfall was the outside noise. We stayed in a room with a window and it was a Saturday and it was extremely noisy due to the crowds at the KCP&L area. Staff tried to locate a fan to help with the noise, but were unable to do so. Other than noise at night keeping is awake, the hotel was great.
