All good except the shuttle. Two times in two visits I had problems. Call from Airport phone linked to Marriott to be picked up. First time no show and had to hook arise with Hilton van. 2nd time had to call twice after waiting 40 min.
Alone as an older women in the hotel for one night. Feel very comfortable and safe. Not s glamorous lobby. The hallways are narrow and look a little outdated, but not dirty or run down. Room is fine. There is a Hilton attached to this hotel via a hallway that has a restaurant and a bar, very comfortable ...
This was a nice option. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location was close to freeways, the airport, and the subway which made it easy for me to use public transportation as well as Lyft. The hotel staff was courteous and extremely helpful.
Overall good value for the money near JFK airport with complimentary shuttle, hot breakfast and an onsite bar/restaurant open until 1030pm for food and 1100pm for drinks. The staff were all wonderful, from the shuttle drivers, to the front desk clerks and restaurant servers The only drawback was ...
Arrived late, check-in wasn't the most pleasant person though not horrible and for NY wasn't too bad. I was surprised how nice the hotel was, surprised only because of the low scores and it being a JFK Airport hotel. Restaurant and bar looked appealing though I didnt use them. The room was clean ...

The Belvidere is our first choice when staying in New York City. The staff is pleasant and helpful And the location meets our needs during our stay.
We came in from an overseas flight very tired. The receptionist was very helpful and courteous. The room was comfortable and the breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold. We were very pleased with our accommodations.
The rooms are little but it does have a really good and cozy feel. It a nice hotel for one or two nights. Staff could be a lot better, not that they werent good, but they dint look happy. I think they could work on that.
This hotel is right on Jamacia Ave. I took a nice walk checking out all of the stores. This was my second visit although I must say I enjoyed my 1st room more. It was a little nicer and on the second floor. I got a great deal on both of them but the second room had a few things I wasn't happy with. The first thing I noticed a previous guest must have burnt the carpet with the iron they provided and later I found a burn hole in the blanket which was quite large. One thing there that really kinda freaked me out that I didn't notice the first time I was there. I found quite shocking coming from a smaller city in Upstate New York was the RATS IN THE PARKING LOT!! They were attracted to the garbage collected from the hotel. They were so frequent whenever I went to my car they reminded me of the squirrel population in my neighborhood. It took some getting used to not to mention the courage I had to muster whenever I had to get to my car. Other than those few details the stay was fine.
