Your flight will arrive at one of three airports in the New York metropolitan area: Liberty Newark Airport, LaGuardia Airport or John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). You can take a cab into the city from any of these airports. Cab fare costs between $21 and $70, depending on the airport and on your final destination. Alternatively, you can get to the city from LaGuardia and JFK by taking the NYC Airporter shuttle bus. If you arrive at Newark, you can take the Newark Airport Express Bus to Manhattan for $16. Winters in New York City are cold and snowy, with average temperatures ranging from 26°F to 43°F. The best time to visit is in the spring or the fall when the average daily temperatures range from 35°F to 76°F.
