The beauty and power of Niagara Falls are undeniable as an average of four million cubic feet of water per minute come crashing down. The falls are not the only worthwhile attraction, as visitors will have lots to do in the area
Visit Niagara Falls State Park for boat, helicopter, and ferry tours, and to learn about the history of the area at the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center and the Adventure Theater. Head to the top of the Skylon Tower for a bird's-eye view of the falls and the surrounding lands; on a clear day, you can see as far as Toronto, Canada.
Families with children will enjoy the Aquarium of Niagara and the Hidden Valley Animal Adventure. There are plenty of museums to visit, including the Niagara Aerospace Museum and the Castellani Art Museum of Niagara University.
Niagara Falls International Airport (IAG) is a convenient alternative to larger, busier airports and will help you fly to Niagara Falls with less hassle.
The falls are open year-round, so be sure to dress appropriately as temperatures can range from a low of -9 degrees in the winter to a high of 81 degrees in the summer. Bring rain gear or a change of clothes if you plan on getting close to the falls.
