The Stewart International Airport is the primary airport serving the greater Newburgh area. It is located just six miles west of downtown Newburgh, with easy access via NY-207. The airport is serviced by jetBlue Airways, Delta Connection and US Airways Express, which offer daily flights to and from Orland, Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta, Detroit and Philadelphia. There are several options for ground transportation at the airport, including private car and limousine service and share-a-ride shuttles. Taxis are available right outside of baggage claim from the time the first flight of the day lands to the last, or you can made advance arrangements through Visconti Ground Transport. Public buses are available, as well as shuttles to the train station where you can hop onto a Metro-North or Amtrak train.
