Pleasantly suprised.

Upon arrival we were greeted by Melanie, who was very helpful and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable.

Windsor Motel

Kitschy potential

We checked in late, midnight. Still, it would have been nice if I had not had to ask for the WiFi password, ask about the continental breakfast, etc. The room looked like it had not been vacuumed and the bedding did not look freshly laundered either. The windows were lacking screens and the room was dusty. However, I like that we could park right in front of our room, it was quiet. The bathroom was pink tile and the shower was hot. Fresh bagels with cream cheese was nice. The Indian couple in the office were very nice. A little tlc here would go a long way!

The Inn And Spa At Beacon

Nice place to stay in Beacon

This is a new hotel in Beacon, NY. It looks retro, but is in fact new and because the owner is also the architect he made sure the hotel looks good. The rooms are comfortable, large bathroom with nice shower. Sink is outside of bathroom which we liked. It has a few larger rooms (which we saw) that looked very spacious and comfortable. Smaller rooms are good size. Smaller rooms don't have windows, though they have tasteful glass block units. Staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel has spa, though didn't use it so can't comment. No food served, but they have tea throughout the day in the lobby and coffee in the morning. Overall we liked this hotel and staff.

Cadet Motel

Fine for the price

We stayed there for my West Point reunion. We just needed a place to sleep and put our stuff. It was a no frills stay, but I wasnt expecting a 5 star hotel. Water was hot, room was comfotable. TV had basic cable and wifi. No issues. Staff was very accommodating.
