We saw it online and it looked nice. When we arrived the room had a horrible musty odor simular to a crowded bar. We asked for another room and it was worse. Bedspread was dirty. Spider web on the ceiling. No stopper for the bathroom sink. There was a banquet Saturday night and theMusic was so loud we did not get to sleep until 2:30 AM.
Okay. Tried to get bathroom towels later in day to no avail. No HBO working on TV as advertised. Breakfast was not ready on time.
Good proximity to Thruway, local retail &-restaurants. Hotel is aging, nothing to separate it from any middle of the road hotel/motel.
Noisiest place I have ever stayed. Bathroom poorly designed. Phone rang indiscriminately and when I answered, people were asking for front desk. When I reported this, there was no concern at all. Finally left phone off the hook - bad news if I needed to be reached. The cleaning staff were excellent.
Room was on second floor of a motel type hotel. There was a urine smell in the stairwell. At check-in there was a gaunt young lady paying in change. My friend traveling with me was too scared to stay. We booked another hotel. When we left hours after we checked in, the manager never asked what was wrong or offered any kind of consolation. It's sad because the property would be nice if it felt safer to be there.
This was great for a cheap getaway. Would recommend to a friend .
Not impressed at all. Very loud noise and can hear next door.
Upon Arrival check in was very slow. I checked in with my family around 5pm. The attendant gave me a paper to sign stating I needed to pay $90 (ALTHOUGH I PREPAID) And when I mentioned it to the attendant he told me to just ignore it and sign. I did not and he had to print a new paper (which still stated that I owed $2 to the hotel). When we finally made it to the room it was 90° inside. The refrigerator was leaking and there was a large puddle in the room. The pool was a disaster. Green water filth dirt and debris everywhere. I stopped counting after 40 bugs including beetles, back swimmers, and Bees floating everywhere.
If you want a $48.00 hotel room, book here. Bad experiences from a hotel that is worse than the roach coach motel. Brand new coffee pot MIC smoked when used, bad electrical outlets that do not hold plugs in. Broken electrical outlet covers that a child could put his finger into. Bed skirting shredded, looks like it was on the bed since the hotel was new. No hot water in the shower, desk clerk stated that "there were a lot of people" staying that night (this is no excuse, it sounds like one of the water heaters was broke). Carpet in the room was severely stained. Very noisy. Air conditioning did not maintain temperature in room, it goes up to 80 degree in night time mode, try sleeping in your sweat. To bad we paid $72.00 for the room when the motel only received $48.00. Pay for what you get.
To expensive for an out dated hotel the only good thing is the new tv but the bathroom sucks
The beds were very comfortable, clean rooms, OK breakfast.
Arrived at hotel didn't like the room dirty with Bugs. They showed me another room same thing. Didn't stay and they kept my Money. Never again!!
Great for a couple nights while on business, clean rooms, centrally located by the waterfront. Great value.
Great for business, clean comfortable room. Great location close to the waterfront. Easy in and out with plenty of parking.
If you're looking for a no frills no amenities (they offer a pool and a lounge that closes early) room, then this is definitly your place.
Enjoyed the room, but the only thing i had a problem with was how loud the heater was.
It overall was a nice stay , only think is the heater is extremely loud
This room wasn't the worse. For the price it really wasn't bad at all.
Cheap, disgustingly dirty, noisy neighbors and is located right by the highway. *rbitz has it in wrong place on map, a mile away. Rooms are very cold, and heat turns off automatically. Staff generally useless and wont help. (Though guy on late night staff was really nice). Noisy and they refused to change our room to anywhere away from our marijuana partying neighbors. Carpet dirty and stained. Bathroom door wouldn't close. No hot water in hotel at night, our neighbor confirmed. Some poorer people appeared to be living there. We knew we wouldn't be in hotel , except to sleep and it still s*cked. Good only, if you are an exhausted trucker, a drunk driver, or out of money.
Well there was 3 events going on at once so it was a bit crazy there. But it was incredibly easy to hear everything in each room beside me. including the fight @ 3:30 am. The added bonus was the 12 yr old unloading his gun with the curtains open at about 6:00 pm. The pillows were down but very lacking in fill. The atmosphere was only completely brought together by the over smell of weed through out the hallways. In short this would be a better place for a police sting rather than a good nights sleep.
