Toronto Pearson International Airport is Canada's busiest and largest airport. It is situated 14 miles to the northwest of downtown Toronto and offers direct flights to international destinations like New York via airlines, including Air Canada, Delta, Lufthansa, British Airways, Air Transat, WestJet, and Air Canada Express. To get to the airport, you can board the Airport Rocket bus at Union Station, which takes about 45 minutes and charges CAN $3. Taxi services cost from CAN $40 to $50, and Limos charge between CAN $45 and CAN $55, taking between 30 and 40 minutes. When traveling from outside of the GTA, you will be charged per kilometer. A cheaper transport alternative from downtown is the Airport Express Shuttle, which charges CAN $23.59 per trip.

The coldest month is January, which experiences an average low temperature of 27 degrees Fahrenheit. The warmest period is from June to August, as the temperatures stay above 80 degrees Fahrenheit. The best time to visit is from January to August, as it's easy to bag a bargain travel deal.
