Very used, dirty room. I didn't realize it at first, but I was being bitten by bed bugs during my sleep. I checked the mattress the last night after waking up with multiple bites on my legs, but wearing pants the day before I knew I had an issue. I looked under the mattress and found a really old box spring that was heavily stained. I started looking through the bed sheets and found a small bed bug nymph alive, moving around. I took a video and took photos of my bites. I then went to the front desk and showed them the pictures and videos. The manager wasn't very help full or apologetic and offered a one night refund. Additional issues besides the dirty room and pests in the room 4202. The elevators break and 2 times we had to wait over 20 minutes for an elevator. Some staff was friendly, most was not and very short. Definitely a 3 star hotel, nowhere near a 4 star. Orbitz did very little for me as well and went with the credit offered by the hotel. When I came home and opened my luggage I found ants in my luggage.

Very nice and helpful staff. Conveniently located to downtown, wtc, dumbo etc…. Problems arise with the elevators. Very small and only 3 serve the whole building. Waited almost 10 minutes this morning for my elevator. Not sure what can be done about it but was in a rush and this did not help

It's a basic hotel, in the Financial District, near wall street and the staten island ferry. It was clean, we had plenty of towels & coffee. And a warm cookie on arrival. No frills. As our room was on 43rd floor it took a while to get up and down each morning & evening. With everyone fighting for the lifts. It was labour day weekend so maybe busier than usual. I remember when you'd get a midtown hotel for the price. Things have changed. On a budget I'd say it was good.
