Very used, dirty room. I didn't realize it at first, but I was being bitten by bed bugs during my sleep. I checked the mattress the last night after waking up with multiple bites on my legs, but wearing pants the day before I knew I had an issue. I looked under the mattress and found a really old box spring that was heavily stained. I started looking through the bed sheets and found a small bed bug nymph alive, moving around. I took a video and took photos of my bites. I then went to the front desk and showed them the pictures and videos. The manager wasn't very help full or apologetic and offered a one night refund. Additional issues besides the dirty room and pests in the room 4202. The elevators break and 2 times we had to wait over 20 minutes for an elevator. Some staff was friendly, most was not and very short. Definitely a 3 star hotel, nowhere near a 4 star. Orbitz did very little for me as well and went with the credit offered by the hotel. When I came home and opened my luggage I found ants in my luggage.

The property itself and the staff are fine. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room and property were very clean and orderly. But this is NYC. Room is small. Good enough for you to move around in somewhat, but becomes cramped when its two people. Lack of parking is an issue. And they apparently had a parking garage they worked with, but it was not clear how to find them or validate. And of course, the hotel store is extra expensive. I will say, if you're by yourself and doing anything in the Wall St or Battery Park area, this hotel is just fine. But everything about the location just says cramped.

The room was small but very clean, and the staff was wonderful. The only downside was the elevators—quite slow, so be sure to allow a little extra time when using them.

Great area in the Financial District. Convenient to attractions, great restaurants, ferry and subway. Room is small but we booked for one of the few hotels that offers a King bed. Asked for early check-in but wasn’t available and that’s understandable. It would have been nice to have been offered cookies and waters upon arrival instead of having to wait till room was ready after the specified check-in time.

This hotel was in the Financial District with lots of restaurants nearby. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. After going to bed we found our bed had a broken mattress with the left side collapsing. In the morning we contacted the front desk and they replaced the mattress immediately.
