I was disappointed that they had no on site parking. I had to walk a mile from hotel to garage. I picked this hotel because it said it has onsite parking. When we got there they said their garage was under construction so the had a lot a mile away we could use. I’m a disabled veteran and can walk that far. we had to take a taxi back and forth each day.
Excelent service
The elevators were small and slow. They need more elevators or bigger ones. The staff was friendly but my apple charger was stolen by one of the housekeepers. The location is convenient if you take the train. I wouldn't drive because parking is expensive.
You need to work on your elevators
Close to everything
Very convenient for financial district/WTC area
We were in for a concert. No issues.
Overall, I enjoyed staying at this place. Staff was kind and the bed was very comfortable. The room was nice size and clean. I wish I knew the check-in place was on the 2nd floor, as I got confused at first. The parking was close but not in the same building, which wasn't the most convenient. You can still get discount as a hotel guest which was good.
Good location
I liked everything about this place.
Stayed 5 nights. Love the location. Ferries, trains and buses are accessible. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was ok. A little dated. There were black flies all over room. That was gross but outside of that I had a pleasant stay.
Location was excellent. Check in was on 2nd floor, but elevators were difficult to use. Rarely running. Most guests had to walk up the stairs. Very hard to get towels & supplies when ordering at front desk-took multiple efforts to obtain when requesting.
Motion detector turned the lights on every time you moved your legs in bed all night long. Also check out lady could have been nicer. Otherwise all good
Main entrance is on second floor not at the lobby so you're not greeted as with other hotels. There's one super slow elevator that you have to wait for forever and cram into with everyone else. The other elevator is either not working or even slower than the one that works. Location is good for business, not as great for tourists...look for midtown hotels. The room was small. It's way overpriced for what you get. The positive is that the ladies at the front desk were very nice. I would not want to stay here again. We moved to the courtyard Marriott midtown west. It was superior in every way and less expensive.
Mostly good experience! Bathroom was a little dirty, and toilet immediately stopped working. I called and asked for it to be repaired, returned 6 hours later, and it had not been fixed. Had to call again and have it fixed late at night which was not ideal at all.
It was not an enjoyable stay. The building only has three elevators and 44 floors of rooms to serve. I spent 10-15 min sometimes trying to get up or down from the room. So I guess make sure you get a low floor so you can take the stairs. Also request to be away from the ice maker or on a floor without an ice maker as I could hear it all night. The room I had was with two double beds and there was not enough room for that. Felt very cramped. Otherwise this hotel is clean and fine. The staff was helpful at the front desk but there is not he’ll staff to speak of.
All members of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, quiet, and a great value. Would recommend this hotel for stays in lower Manhattan.
