Staff was very friendly which was the best part. Hotel elevator and hallways are dark, old looking and dirty. The whole place smells bad. The room was clean and decent but it was dark, with odd mixed dim lighting and very small and not as sound proof as advertised. Free shuttle is nice. The overall vibe was dismall but the staff tries hard to make it feel nicer.

When i arrived i was told the airport shuttle for the morning was already full, i also enquired whether i could have an apple or anything to go for breakfast and was just told 'no, breakfast is only at 6' it was 5am and i feel like abagel or fruit option for those of us travelling early would have been normal.

Room was well thought-out as far as amenities are concerned, however, with the overall room size, it would have been better to have two twin-size beds instead of queens. The biggest problem was that I chose this hotel specifically for the free shuttle service to and from the airport (we had a 15 hour layover and wanted a place to shower and rest before our connection). And while the pickup at JFK went smoothly, the shuttle departing for the airport the next morning was fully-booked by the time we arrived at checking at 11PM. Given that this hotel is specifically geared for airport travelers, it should be prepared for a large contingent of their customers to head to the airport at a given time.
