Overall good value for the money near JFK airport with complimentary shuttle, hot breakfast and an onsite bar/restaurant open until 1030pm for food and 1100pm for drinks. The staff were all wonderful, from the shuttle drivers, to the front desk clerks and restaurant servers The only drawback was the smell in the hotel corridors and the room itself....which can only be described as old sweaty gym socks....seriously, we had to open our room window in 25 degree weather to get fresh air.

Overall pleasant. Staff helpful and accommodating. Good breakfast, great location, regular shuttle to and from the airport. Price a bit high.

Breakfast had hot items hot and cold items cold. Room as small, would work for a couple, but any more than that would be an issue.

The hotel did not live up to the standards that we expected. The positive was a great receptionist and wonderful aiport shuttle system. The room is old and outdated. The floor that we were on was party central. We needed peace and quiet after a long international flight.

I've stayed at many airport hotels for the sake of convenience but this one surpassed all others. We stayed 2 nights in January 2017 to see our daughter off on a study-abroad program. Folks here were so friendly I thought I was back home in Minnesota! I picked it because it had 1) Free airport shuttle & 2) free breakfast. At the time we were there the airport shuttle ran every 30 minutes in the a.m. & hourly after that. It's a quick trip to / from all terminals at JFK. We also learned there was a free shuttle to the subway stations at Jamaica & Howard Beach which was unexpected but welcome! And the free breakfast was the best - really - no stale danishes; instead cheese omelets, scrambled eggs, waffles, cereal, etc. We called for an Uber once and it was there promptly. We had a room at the back of the hotel (off Rockaway) and it was very quiet; even the toilets in the room were quiet, not the usual blasting noise. The beds had a surplus of pillows which I realized were a "one of every kind" assortment (soft to firm, etc) Last but not least: the staff were the BEST making sure we knew what was available to us, what was open, etc - friendly, welcoming & accommodating.

Everything was much better than expected, the staff was very accommodating and attentive.

It took me half an hour to get information from the desk about breakfast. The rooms were very small and old looking. Breakfast was good though.

Free shuttle service between this hotel and JFK was very convenient. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Room was clean and comfortable with plenty of towels and a comfortable bed. Internet was free as well as a well stocked breakfast. Fresh coffee was available throughout the day and night. All the staff was courteous and helpfull. Front desk graciously provided some toiletries I lacked at no cost. There was transportation to and from the airport as well as to the subway station for getting into Manhattan. Overall an excellent experience and would definitely recommend and return.

This is a great place to stay you have to spend a night at a hotel near JFK between flights. I saw cheaper hotels listed, but for the convenience and the reliability of the shuttle service, the pleasant restaurant (food was fresh and tasty), and the very helpful staff I thought that I got a great deal.

My husband's mom lives nearby and we stay at the hotel when we come to visit her. The area seems fine and we've had no problems even when we check in late night. We are both pleased with the facility and will continue to stay when we come to Jamaica, NY.

I don't expect much from airport hotels, but this one is of a pretty high absolute standard. The van picked us up quickly at the airport, and the staff were very helpful on both checkin and checkout. The small restaurant has a good menu for travelers, and the service was very good as well--the same held true for the breakfast buffet, which had extensive choices and friendly service. The room was very comfortable and quiet. This will be my go-to hotel hereafter for an overnight at JFK.
