This is no longer a hotel. Why is Orbitz asking me to evaluate it? Orbits found me a new place to stay after I arrived on site and was told that the property was not accepting guests. A security guard told me it was a shelter now, as he welcomed teens in and checked their bags with a metal detector wand.
We had a reservation but room not available on arrival and sent away.
stay away if you have a lot of baggage and plan to go jfk. This place is not for travellers
it was a port in a storm. I was stuck at airport.
The hotel was said to have had shuttle service, it did not. It was said to have a continental breakfast it did not. So throw in those extra cost factors it cost me $30 and $10 dollars for the lies! I also was unable to access their WiFi until the morning. On the positive side I was able to rid all my bad karma with a great Obama and made it to the airport for my next flight feeling fulfilled!!!!
The staff was nice and helpful, The hotel was new and clean. The shuttle service to the airport was nice. Would not hesitate to stay again for a layover at JFK.
Despite the good restyling of the building and rooms the hotel is located in a bad area of town with not many food options. The rooms are nice but the doors are like paper, you can hear everything and everybody outside starting from the ice machine to the other customers checking in. Not the best option if you are tired and want to sleep at night. Definitively not a good design for an hotel. I won't be back there.
New facility with modern decor but front desk and main entrance difficult to find - it is not the door on the street but instead down a ramp between the building & fence around the next door building. Name of hotel high up on building where not easily noticed. Room small for a King size bed & other furniture but adequate for my needs. Free parking on street. Free breakfast at another hotel 1 block away. Convenient to JFK & shuttle provided.
I was in the NY area working primarily at JFK airport and some work in Valley Stream NY. The Rodeway Inn provided comfortable lodging near all I needed. Highly recommend for those particularly working near JFK.
Excellent value for the location... A ver clean hotel located only 5 minutes from JFK airport. This was a great lodging experience for the amount of money. I would recommend!!!
Nice for the price, just a construction crew needing a room for a week. Motel is clean, but rooms very small
The hotel is brand new. I paid $65 for one night of work at JFK. Awesome price. Room was very small but exceptionally clean. The frame of the bath shower should be raised! I am 6'1 and hit my head twice getting into shower. Be Careful!
