We arrived at the hotel and discovered there was no parking. We were left trying to find a place to park our car, in New York. We were warned that this wasn't the safest part of town so to be careful. The surroundings were geto and when we let the next morning there were homeless gathered outside the entrance of the hotel. Our room was clean but had not been fully furnished yet. The bed was supposed to be a queen, but it was a full. Because of the lack of furniture the hallways were very echoey and we could hear everything going on in the hallways.

The room was very clean,had some issues with turning on the heat I wish it was had a little more space ,there was an enclosed area with a toilet that once you entered you couldn't close the door. Staff was no t very courteous.

At first glance, everything appeared ok, but then you realize that’s not the case. First, the m rooms are loud. All you hear is doors slamming and people chasing. The noise echoes really bad. Second, there was residue of like a syrup or a sauce on the remote for the tv. Plus, the tv took 10+ seconds to register 1 action, forget about scrolling through the tv channels. It would take forever to be able to move more than 2 channels. Third, the heat was blasting in my room (above 80) when I returned from my outing. It was cold the night before and in the morning and I never touched the thermostat. It could’ve been set that way by another guest but it was also making this clicking noise. Lastly, I found rose petals under the bed when I was packing up to leave and checking to make sure i didn’t drop anything. Definitely makes me question if my bed was cleaned and what was on the remote.

Clean room, basic but had all I needed. Staff were friendly. Rooms are not sound proofed so you can hear the lift and people in the corridor. Also bedroom doors have a gap underneath them of at least 0.5-1cm, unsure why.
