Very disappointed. Good location but did not know of construction before booking or early enough to change. No elevator for guests and I was on 3 rd floor. Had to make several trips and carry big suitcase up several flights of stairs. My parents on 1st floor which we lucked out because they could not have done 3 rd. Also little communication. No pool though not working in that area snd no access to fitness center. AND no discount or accommodations for HUGE inconvenience. Won’t be choosing Hampton for our future travel unless we hear back. We travel a lot. Room air conditioning not consistent but the bed was comfortable.
Building under full renovation with no pre-notice. Staff ignored me at check in, keys did not work. Very poor!

The assigned room was truly sub-par. Room 118. A broken window shade that would not / could not be re-set made the room dark and dreary. The nicer rooms are all upstairs. I got the booby prize room.
I was very disappointed in the state of my guest room. The blinds did not work (there was a bed sheet in place of blinds) and the shower was inoperable for the first evening, until I made a request at the front desk. I’d expect more from the Hilton brand. The staff was very helpful and polite, however. Hot breakfast was great.
Great property. Its easy to get to, plenty of parking, friendly helpful staff, awesome breakfast, etc. We will definitely stay here again
The room amenities are very poor. The automated electric shades were broken, so we couldn't see out. When we reported the problem, we were told there was nothing that could be done. The heating / air conditioning is loud. The unnecessary towel warmer in the bathroom aslo didn't work. Seems like lots of money was poured into this location but with poor oversight.
It was just fine for a quick overnight. No complaints.
The room Improvements were amazing. There were remote controls for everything from the window curtains to the bathroom toilet! The toilet seat was heated. It was clear the room was spotlessly sanitized. I highly recommend.
My 9 yr daughter loved the new toilet. The mirror would not connect to my phone but she was excited nonetheless

Highway side rooms of the building (odd room numbers) are noisy, but even numbered rooms are quiet. Heat had not been on in a while, and made the room quite smelly from burnt dust. Good breakfast. Convenient to restaurants and Furman University.
