We had a great time at the Westgate Resort. The staff was terrific. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The room itself was very nice with ocean front view. My wife and I had a great time.

This hotel is actively selling time share units. It has an older section of the hotel which is already sold out and a new section which they are actively improving. There are several pools and a nice bar with great food. Every staff person I had contact with were helpful and pleasant. The hotel was sold out the first few days of my visit. Parking is sufficient with two nearby overflow lots. The main lot is attended. I stayed in the old building which they have forgotten about. It smells awful. I bought my own air freshener which helped in the room. The building is old, interior walls are cracked, corners and crevices are caked in dirt. The decor needs updating. Even the fresh linens smelled bad.my recommendation is to request accomodations in the new section when reserving your stay.

The view was beautiful. The rooms were nice and clean and the staff was awesome

Out of season. No one around couldn’t get a complimentary upgrade for anniversary. On top of that couldn’t get even an hour later checkout when we seen seriously only 10 other hotel guests. Since it was out of season it should have been a must to help us out!

After working the night before then driving 120mi.to airport,then flying down there with 1layover, driving to the hotel you'd think would be the easiest and most gratifying part, but the address to the hotel takes you at least 15milesout of my way. I arrive at my destination where the road is under construction, obviously not the right place I call the hotel and they tell me to put in Family Fantasy Amusement Park,thenI find the hotel,so they and I'm sure others know of this,IT NEEDS TO BE RECTIFIED, that's no way to start a vacation, especially after a long day and stress of travel

Great staff, close to beach. Needs more restaurants on site

This hotel is very nice, however if you are only a hotel guest and not a condo owner that is one of their other buildings you do not receive any of the amenities. Staff was overall nice but you could not use half of the things there because they are specifically designated for owners. There are owner lounges breakfast chairs etc.

Daily pleasant the beach was great ....all the amusement around the hotel was great.

The long waits to get checked in are awful!! There are people piled into the small lobby. Clearly the building needs upgrading. The hallways smell. The linens smell. The carpeting is old and dingy. There is not sufficient staff to clean all the rooms between the 10am check out and the 4pm check in. When we got to the old dingy room, the toilet didn't flush!!! Had to wait for maintenance to come. Maybe the other building is newer and better. I will never stay here again.

I had a or of fun and I really enjoyed the stay at the hotel

The tv and shower head barely worked and we had to ask hotel staff to clean our rooms daily. It seemed as if they were more concerned about the exterior

We were looking for a hotel on the beach to stay one night and at check in, changed it to two. The desk staff were very polite and accommodating at check in. We stayed in room 416. There were five floors and all were directly above the pool area. It was very loud, even after closing the door to the balcony. The room door to the hallway has a 1/2 gap which made it possible to hear every conversation coming down the hall. Even after putting a towel down to cover the gap, it was loud. This room has a connecting door and I could hear all of the conversations in the connecting room as well as the TV in the non connecting room. The walls and doors are thin and not insulated well at all. The bathroom tub had hair on the ledge from the previous guest. A floor down there was a group of young and very loud boys. The first night I put up with the noise and hoped the hotel would calm them down. The second night I hollered several times to get their attention and told them to keep it down. There were hotel employees directly below who watched me do this and apparently did not see the need to quite them down themselves. There is a large time share sales presence in the lobby. If you want a quite location that has a older, mature style of fellow guests, do not pick this hotel. Avoid it. There is a $11.00 a day "resort fee" and why I do not know. There is nothing that says resort about this place.

We chose this location for our wedding on the beach in early march. It was off season, so most of hotel amenities were not available, didn't know that. Hotel was nice, room I booked online for low price was not worth it. So they offered me an upgrade at a dicount since we were getting married. Totally worth it. In the tower, ocean view, hot tub.perfect. most local activities weren't available due to off season.

Nice proximity to the beach. Customer service was lacking. Told to park one place than had to move when "VIP" guests arrived two days later. If we're told this at checkin, it wouldn't have been a big deal. Anytime a concern - big or small - was brought to staff member the answer was no or we we can't help you. Never offered options or alternatives. Room was tiny and did not look like any of the photos. Old fixtures and furniture - could use some updates.

One of the worker knocks on the door asking or you leaving today and he Was not very pilot asking. I didn't like his tone and then said I be back and a few minutes if I didn't hear anything from the Office. It's a way saying things and still get you message across.

Only there for the night but it was clean quiet and fine.

Nothing like website pictures felt like I was tricked.

We had a great time at the Westgate Resort. The staff was terrific. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The room itself was very nice with ocean front view. My wife and I had a great time.

nice for owners, not guests

This hotel is very nice, however if you are only a hotel guest and not a condo owner that is one of their other buildings you do not receive any of the amenities. old building - smells horrible
