Location was great—short drive to downtown Charleston and to the beaches, and Shem Creek in Mt Pleasant was adorable. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lacking. No fruit; 1 working coffee maker that brewed individual cups, so it took forever to get just one cup with the line of people waiting; service was really slow to refill things.

The room was clean and tidy. The only thing was down the hallway there was rooms with dirty towels left outside their front doors. Also, the breakfast area was clean but the ladies in the back were not keeping the food or coffee stocked. And if you mention to them that the coffee pot was empty or the bacon was empty, she smiles and that is it. She took forever to refill anything and you can hear them chitchatting about their personal life. They were not doing their job to refill the food or coffee.
