Parking garage is horrible very narrow hard to get around especially for larger cars rooms had living room by the beach couldn't listen to waves in bed otherwise great place especially for kids

Very dirty, very smelly, poorly maintained. Dirty carpets in the hallways, disgustingly filthy super slow elevators, horrible mold/chlorine smell in the room, no shower curtain in the shower...

The hotel was very enjoyable and right off the beach. There was a small misunderstanding on my part when I booked the room. I thought I booked a ocean front room but I actually booked an ocean view. I went to the front desk and talked to the manager, she was very helpful and got me in an ocean front room the second night of my trip. The hotel room was clean and all the staff were awesome. My family and I will definitely be staying here again next year.

My family and I experienced a great stay at this hotel, I would recommend it to anyone. It has various pools, a cardio center, and the free breakfast was great. The staff were very kind especially the young man that changed our bed sheets.

We had problems with a couple of things when we took over the room. Telephone wire was removed, light Bulb was burnt out, clock wasn't working, safe was stuck. Of course they sent someone up to fix it all. We had to go after room cleaner first day to make bed and clean room. Second day she came in and only took garbage and towels. Didn't do bed. We called desk and they said they would send someone up to do it. They never did. They only have 1 disabled parking on each floor, yet they have loads of parking for high top vans, at least 6 on registration floor. Plus they have coffee pot in room but no coffee,when we asked they said you have to ask at the desk, there was nothing to tell us that.

Nice size room for the money, liked that the room had plenty of pillows but bed was average for comfort. Only complaint was room had a mildew smell but not intolerable. The breakfast bar was great. Friendly staff!

A good place to stay for the price. The beds were comfortable and the hot buffet breakfast was very good. However, our room was poorly painted and partially updated. The kitchen had new appliances, countertops, and backsplash. The dining table top was missing and a round glass top was placed on top. The floor lamp was reconditioned with parts from a different lamp. The tvs were extremely small. The sleeper sofa was old and very uncomfortable to sit on. When we checked out we were denied a receipt by the clerk who stated if we had a question or problem we should contact Expedia. I am finding that when you book through a third party you get what you pay for. You get the worst rooms.

I stayed at the hotel during August 26th we were there celebrating my daughter's birthday so we had a sweet this week was okay I needed to be cleaned a little better needs to really a paint job it seems like the paint is old was disappointed that the maze only made the bed they didn't change the sheets the whole time we were there they don't really clean up good the one incident I called to have someone come up to help with the DVD player no one ever came never inquired if it was okay a little disappointed with the buffet breakfast not that great overall I would not say that again however it is a nice place nice location close by everything so it was just my preference not to go back

I want to start off by saying this hotel has great pools and got tubs. Also the breakfast and their serving staff were awesome. Lastly located on the beach which has a great location. Loved it. With that said, I could not enjoy our room. They have free WiFi but our first room did not have a router. So the hotel staff have us a beach front King suite to make up for it. But, I had another problem. When we turned the air conditioner on in our room I get pellted with small black partials which was foam and mold. I got sick from it. So I complain and the front desk sent a spooky maintenance guy up and he turn it on did the same thing. Then tells my wife, well housekeeping is suppose to keep these clean. They he left. Wow what service. The only good service that we got outside of breakfast was from the Conceiar Bunnie. She was great. Recommended the Medevil Knights dinner which was awesome and hooked us up with other fun activities. So rooms are questionable along with staff. We would see staff sneaking around so they could be on their cell phones. Mostly the male staff. The housekeepers where really nice and very polite. This Hotel is part of the Wyndom Resorts. Which I though that they would make sure this place was taken care of instead of being run down. We had a rememberable trip.

It was our first time at Myrtle Beach and the pictures online of the hotel looked like a good location on the ocean. Upon arriving the staff was friendly. That is where the good experience ended. The room was not clean. The blankets ALL either had stains or holes, the safe was broken, their was a dead bug in the light and a huge bug that crawled into a hole in the floor by the door. The shower curtain hooks were covered in mold. We asked the front desk if they could take care of the safe and the bug problem and several hours later our room was not cleaned and the safe was still broken. If this hotel was only $50 this could be expected but for how much we paid, I would never go back nor recommend.

I went to meet several friends over the week-end and stayed at this hotel. It is in a safe location, without traffic but convenient to everything. The room was clean with an awesome view. The only thing that would have been better is for the room entrance not to be in your bedroom...reverse floor plan needed! The parking is a little tight but I looked on previous reviews and elected to drive a smaller car. Breakfast was very good and not just fruit, fruit loops, etc...hot breakfast! I highly recommend!

The Monterey Bay was nice and clean. The upgrades such as the flat panel TVs, stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops were very nice, and the indoor pool area is great. However the beds do need new mattresses because they are very soft and flimsy. The complimentary breakfast is a bonus. Nice place over all.

very nice hotel

The hotel was very enjoyable and right off the beach. There was a small misunderstanding on my part when I booked the room. I thought I booked a ocean front room but I actually booked an ocean view. great hotel

signing in was great. cleaning was awful
