Cockroaches on sidewalk in pool area, bed had stains all over it, fridge next to stove had splattered door from previous guests, bed mattress leaned so hard to the left you had to sleep centered or you’d fall off. “Ocean view” room was on the side of building, had to lean out over balcony to see ocean.. horrible parking arrangements and only had parking spots in structure a block away

More like an old motel than a hotel Surely not a resort...

nice views of the ocean, pools very nice. nothing overly fancy but comfortable. beds are of course a bit on the soft side as many hotels are but enjoyed our stay.

I had 2 rooms for the weekend and the one my wife and our son stayed was infested with bed bugs! We woke up at 2 am turned on the lights and they were all over the pillows and both beds. I told the staff immediately but did not get a refund for that room. We crammed in the other room which was clean for the rest of the weekend. Staff said they would have to contact Expedia to refund the money and it's been a week and I have not received it.

This isnt the worst place I have ever stayed but it wasn't the greatest. The room was average and the kitchenette somewhat outdated. The room was presentable but not the cleanliness. I wanted a oceanfront room with a beach view. That is what I got and truly valued the most from this myrtle beach visit.

Check-in: Office needs updating and expansion. Long lines. Helpful and prompt when resolving problems in the room. Ocean view and beach: Great! Price: Very expensive. Parking garage: Needs cleaning. Bathroom: Dirty! Carpet: Needs cleaning.

Everything was okay, especially the convenience of the beach and the awesome view. My only issue was the fact that is was majorly outdated, the room had an stale odor and I did not feel that the bed covers were up to standards!

Terrible housekeeping during our stay. Hotel is dated, needs a makeover and new elevators. Location is good and the front desk staff are friendly. Unsure if I would recommend.

This hotel is dirty, old, has a crabby staff, and way overpriced. Yes, close to beach, but this is definitely NOT the side of Myrtle Beach you want to bring your family. We will be staying close to the boardwalk next time. The difference is like night and day compared to this part of the beach. This hotel is ready for a complete demolition. It smelled disgusting. There were hairs on the linens. Foil on the stove top drip catches. Trash still in the wastebaskets and a ton of flyers for pizza delivery (which would have been so appreciated if they weren't the most God Awful places in the free world, more on that later aka Fresh Burger Co. which literally had me in tears by the end of the night) Anyway, this place is an absolute dump.

Need to fix head board on pull down bed and clean behind.

Our room was comfy with good lighting. Nice loungy chairs in the room, beds and pillows comfortable. Loved watching the sunrise from our balcony.

It was wonderful to be within walking distance of the beach. And there were some wonderful treats like a spa and pool and the lazy river was fun also. Wonderful stay indeed!

Beds were super comfortable, the bathroom was clean the room had a nice little kitchenette with good size fridge and even a little couch near the balcony. We did close the door to hard on the patio resulting in us getting locked out of the room on the wrong side but with a simple call to the front desk the problem was fixed. Over nice beach front and pool were nice. Parking kinda far though

We just came back from a 4 night stay and it was ok. Defiantly nothing special. The grounds and pools were nice. It was very crowded though, lots of kids. Not really my idea of relaxing. Never had an issue finding a chair. The room needed serious updating. We were on the second floor so our “oceanview” was really a view of the generator in the parking lot. Room size would have been tight with 4 people. The maid service was terrible, she only came one day. The second day she only replaced towels, no bed making or anything and the third day she didn’t come at all. We also had an issue with our shower not draining which wasn’t fully fixed until the end of our stay. They did offer compensation for the issue but we had to ask, it wasn’t offered. The wifi was also absolutely terrible. It took several minutes for pages to load and wouldn’t even work in the rooms. I was not able to get any work done. There were no beach towels, so bring your own. You also cannot take chairs down to the beach. We thought the location was good considering we did not have a car. It was about a $11-13 uber ride from airport and $5-6 to everywhere else (skywheel, broadway on the beach etc.). The piggly wiggly was about a 15 min walk, subway and ice cream shop was a few minutes. Mini golf was also within walking distance. Considering the hotel was right on the beach, it was a good price. Would I stay again? Probably not.

Just needed a place to crash before leaving early the next day for Costa Rica. It served its purpose.

Nice clean rooms on the beach .staff very helpful

I stayed here for two weeks in November. Great view, friendly staff, quiet, and walking distance to a couple of great places to eat. I was very pleased by my stay and will look at staying here again the next time I visit Myrtle Beach.

Hotel needs some sprucing up. Some of it looks dingy. Rooms are ok but on the small side. Oceanfront view was great. Higher the floor the better. Staff are nice.

Parking could be better but still a nice place. Will stay again!

Great beach area and pools. Walking distance to shops and restaurants Room is outdated and needs upgrades
