Beds were super comfortable, the bathroom was clean the room had a nice little kitchenette with good size fridge and even a little couch near the balcony. We did close the door to hard on the patio resulting in us getting locked out of the room on the wrong side but with a simple call to the front desk the problem was fixed. Over nice beach front and pool were nice. Parking kinda far though
We just came back from a 4 night stay and it was ok. Defiantly nothing special. The grounds and pools were nice. It was very crowded though, lots of kids. Not really my idea of relaxing. Never had an issue finding a chair. The room needed serious updating. We were on the second floor so our “oceanview” was really a view of the generator in the parking lot. Room size would have been tight with 4 people. The maid service was terrible, she only came one day. The second day she only replaced towels, no bed making or anything and the third day she didn’t come at all. We also had an issue with our shower not draining which wasn’t fully fixed until the end of our stay. They did offer compensation for the issue but we had to ask, it wasn’t offered. The wifi was also absolutely terrible. It took several minutes for pages to load and wouldn’t even work in the rooms. I was not able to get any work done. There were no beach towels, so bring your own. You also cannot take chairs down to the beach. We thought the location was good considering we did not have a car. It was about a $11-13 uber ride from airport and $5-6 to everywhere else (skywheel, broadway on the beach etc.). The piggly wiggly was about a 15 min walk, subway and ice cream shop was a few minutes. Mini golf was also within walking distance. Considering the hotel was right on the beach, it was a good price. Would I stay again? Probably not.
Just needed a place to crash before leaving early the next day for Costa Rica. It served its purpose.
Nice clean rooms on the beach .staff very helpful
I stayed here for two weeks in November. Great view, friendly staff, quiet, and walking distance to a couple of great places to eat. I was very pleased by my stay and will look at staying here again the next time I visit Myrtle Beach.
Hotel needs some sprucing up. Some of it looks dingy. Rooms are ok but on the small side. Oceanfront view was great. Higher the floor the better. Staff are nice.
Parking could be better but still a nice place. Will stay again!
Great beach area and pools. Walking distance to shops and restaurants Room is outdated and needs upgrades
It is always nice staying at a clean well maintained hotel.
I would say the best thing about this hotel is the walking distance to the beach, restuarants and bar. I was in suite tower and liked the quietness of this tower. The main pool had a DJ which was fun.
Great setup close to beach ocean front they have a bar at the pool with entertainment on some nights lots of space to lay out older hotel but for the most part is clean in the rooms just a little dusty on curtains hallways need some updated carpet but overall hotel not too bad for the price and access to the pool and beach
Great location within walking distance to many places! Plenty of free parking. The room was clean and the ocean front view was priceless! Service was above average even though we are very low maintenance anyway. the staff were very polite and friendly I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. They only drawback is the property is spread out among 4 buildings and there was not a "front desk" in our building. It felt as though anyone could enter and exit the building with no challenges. Beach access is a breeze (but they do close and lock that access at 10:30 pm which is annoying since you have to walk out front and around the building) with that being said I would still return.
I selected this hotel because the reviews were mostly pleasant and the price was good compared to other hotels. With that said, I never expected an additional $60 per night in hotel fees/taxes and would have gladly paid more for a cleaner and newer hotel. Each floor smelled terrible off the elevator. We walked into our room and noticed hair in the freezer and shower, food crumbs from the previous guests still on the floor and chairs, water damage to the ceiling, and dirt and grime in every corner of the bathroom. Oh and the oven didn't work. My biggest problem happened after checking out. The hotel charged me a $100 smoking fee. My wife and I do not smoke and we had no one else in the room with us for the entire stay. I called and spoke to the manager to get the fee refunded but he said he went into the room himself and wouldn't return the fee. After threatening to have my bank reverse the charge he eventually called back and said he would reverse the fee. I have to wonder how many times they have done this to guests out of state who may not look closely at their credit card statements. I would never return to this hotel and would advise everyone to stay very far away.
Hotel somewhat dated but the outdoor areas and beach were wonderful.
Relaxing, nice amenities. A perfect vacation resort.
Me and my family stayed in this hotel for 5 days. We love it! Great location, nice view and special if you have kids! I recommend!
The hotel was very close to the beach and the room was a decent size and comfortable. The only complaint is that the breezeway smelled like smoke and the elevator wasn't working. Overall, I'd give it a 3.5 out of 5.
I love the kitchenette. It saves a lot of money so that you don't have to go out and eat. The staff is extremely friendly. The staff is very helpful. It is a wonderful location right by the beach and there are lots of picnic tables and chairs. The pool is perfect and there are several pools for all ages including the lazy river.
i will never go back to this dump. room is advertised as OCEAN VIEW. apparently this is a bait switch term used to make you think you are getting beach front. you're stuck and they know it. you are not getting another room anywhere. parking is across the street or where ever you can find one. a handful of spaces under the building. the room is wet with humidity. the a/c system cannot dry the room that looks at the side of the other buildings. the furniture is dated and appears to have been picked up from a craigslist curb alert. the appliances are the same as my grandparents kitchen and the bathroom has ONLY enough room to close the door. this is literally the smallest bathroom i have ever seen. i have NO GOOD thing to say about this hotel and will NEVER return
Hotel is very run down. Elevator was broken, room had mold in it. Very dated.
