Our Dayton House Vacation in March, 2025

We had a great time at Dayton House with the best view ever. The front desk staff were so friendly & helpful! Breakfast was wonderful & food servers were happy, helpful & smiling. BUT this hotel needs a lot of work! Surprisingly, this did not hinder our vacation. Beds were very comfortable & we slept so well!! Housekeeping is friendly & does a good job. It was too cold to give an accurate description because we were unable to use it.

We had reserved a "suite" in the suite building. The building is deplorable. Dirty, needs repair everywhere, very low class. In our "suite" the sink was leaking water everywhere and it was generally awful. We insisted on another room, this time in the north tower. Much better. Not excellent but better.

CONSTRUCTION!

We would’ve liked to know about the massive and noisy construction going on directly next to us. The piles of dirt completely obstructed our view of the ocean. We had trouble with our toilet….twice. Both times maintenance responded quickly.
