Property is beautiful and well taken care of. The daily housekeeping was spotty at best. They seemed to forget or miss something almost daily. Also one of the restaurants did not serve fresh food. I ordered mixed fruit dish and it was old. I would recommend the place overall but would probably find another hotel for my next visit.

Heat Not Working. Bad Smell. Doors with Gaps

We called the hotel in advance to let them know that due to flight delays we would be arriving late 2:00AM. They said that would be ok. I asked to make sure the room was ready and the heat turned on as the outside temp was 25 degrees. When we got to our room the front door had a large gap due to the door not being aligned with the door jam. Upon entering we were overwhelmed with a strong moldy and musty smell. Because it was so cold outside we could only open the door slightly to let fresh air in. The we discovered that the heater in the bedroom did NOT work. Even though we asked to have the heat checked prior to arrival. Engineering came to look at heater and could not get it working. By this time is was 3:00AM so we just asked for more blankets and went to bed. The room chilled badly as the hours pasted.

We generally stay at another resort hotel in HHI, but it was fully under construction. We booked the Omni about 30 min before we got there. The front desk rep was amazing and helpful. The XO bartender was also super friendly and helpful. Every person we ran into went above and beyond to be accommodating and super friendly. The hotel room was really clean. The views were stunning. Location is great. Elevators are sketchy but worked! We are now Omni people. It was quiet, but we were there in January so who knows what it’s like in the summer.

A fine location near the beach with some nice hot tubs. Restaurants on site are fine, and the massages at the spa are well done. My only complaint is that they have a policy that guests are not allowed to use the luggage carts, which they say is for safety, but somehow plenty of other hotels are happy to let you use them!

Friendly staff at Omni Hilton Head

From the time we arrived to the time we left, nothing but smiling friendly faces. The staff was great. Despite the cold weather, we enjoyed our visit to Omni in Hilton Head. Property appears to have been updated as our room was clean and very spacious. Nice little kitchenette and bar. Beds comfortable, etc. Certainly give the location, the property and the stafff all high marks. Plus its is literally in the beach…walk out pool area and your in the the beach.

Huge room facing the ocean, bathroom was great with a his & her sinks with divider door, king bed was comfy, short walk to the ocean. The breakfast chef was amazing! Perfect omelette and steak! Needs better coffee and fresh squeezed oj and it would have been perfect!
