Wonderful quiet resort, checkin was great, friendly staff. The only problem was with the outdoor bar right outside the rooms. A group of business people were drinking and being very loud. Loud enough that we could hear them over tv with door closed. Bar was to close at 10 , at 10 we saw staff give them more drinks. At 10:30 we called desk to let them know if noise. Told security would go, nope. Called again, told same . Desk then called us, told us bar wouldn’t close until 12. Finally manager got on and apologized and said she would go . She did go and speak to staff. Group finally left over 11. We were told it wouldn’t happen again. Next night same thing, different business people. This was during week after Labor Day. I can’t imagine how loud it gets during summer. Bar is open to all ocean view rooms. Maid service didn’t come every day.

This was our first year here after many years at another resort on the island. We will never go back to another place. The staff was very warm and helpful. The accommodations were wonderful.

This is a hotel, not a resort. Visited over a holiday weekend that happened to have bad weather, which is not their fault. However, the hotel was not accommodative at all to guests. There was a lot of complaining among the guests. The hotel nickels & dimes for everything, and misrepresents its amenities as things like the beach access is run by another company charging $45/day for rickety beach chairs. First & last time visiting Hilton Head after this experience.

The property is fresh and clean and service is outstanding.

We loved everything about the resort. We look forward to coming back.

Unacceptable that housekeeping knocked on the door at 8:50am asking a specific time that we will be checking out! CHECK OUT IS 11 and we had and extension to 12!!! STOP DISTURBING YOUR GUESTS

the only challenge we had was that the only way to the pool area was down some steps outside. My husband uses a walker and so we couldn't go to the beach or the pool. otherwise big, clean and super friendly staff.

Excellent and convenient golf and beach access directly adjacent to the resort. Great DJ poolside with fantastic pool/beach amenities. Beautiful facilities and rooms, friendly and helpful staff. There is an underground parking garage that would have been helpful to know about, as surface parking gets full quickly, especially when there are events... which is often. Would highly recommend the Westin and will be returning on next visit to HH.

Location was great. But, the exterior could use some updating. We paid extra for the balcony view, but could rarely use it because our balcony was basically flooded with the rain. There was no drainage. Also, the stucco on the building was crumbling and needs repair.

Great hotel, reduced by 1 star as the rates over the summer are artificially inflated due to high demand.

Would recommend this resort- beautiful setting with great beachfront, beautiful pools well designed with multiple restaurants. The rooms were very clean, bathroom was update and beds comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our expectations were met!

I loved that there were dogs everywhere! Great beach, loved renting bikes to go up and down the beach on. Pools were nice, although they closed a few hours early our first night when I wanted to go in. This is the last resort north and not near many of the other restaurants and shops. The restaurant onsite had amazing fish tacos and she crab soup though! Room with an ocean view was very nice to sit out on the balcony overlooking the pool. The guy playing music for dinner was really great but I wish it ended a bit earlier because it was a little loud. We also had a busted bathroom door that was very hard to close without smashing your fingers

This is a hotel, not a resort. Visited over a holiday weekend that happened to have bad weather, which is not their fault. However, the hotel was not accommodative at all to guests.
