One of my favorite places in Myrtle Beach! I’ve always loved this resort and its location, this was my third stay, and I usually look forward to coming back. In fact, my last two visits were each extended by more than six days because I enjoyed them so much.
However, this time was disappointing. At check-in, the front desk staff felt very robotic, with no sense of a warm welcome. On top of that, I was surprised to learn about new resort and parking fees that were never mentioned during booking. I had booked under the impression that the quoted price included everything, as it had before. For a quick two-night weekend getaway with my wife and son, it was frustrating to discover additional charges upon checkout—especially after having spent thousands of dollars here over the years.
Even though the front desk noted my concerns for the manager, the fees were not waived as a courtesy, despite my being a loyal repeat guest. While our two-day stay itself was fantastic, the lack of transparency and genuine hospitality left me questioning whether I’ll return in the future. For that reason, I have to give a much lower score this time around.
