The room is not worth what I paid for
The customer service specialist at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. This hotel is updated nicely - great location.
We really enjoyed our stay here. However, the parking situation was horrible!! There was never a spot under the hotel to park in so the only option was to pay everyday for parking in a lot across the street. We had to make sure every morning by 8 am we paid $10 for the day.
The ocean view
Rooms updated nicely but walls are THIN. And doors have closing springs that SLAM them so that is not ideal in the AM or at night.
Everything was very nice. The pool area could have been a little more inviting and the water heated. Good location, nice beach. Nice area. Didn't get 5 stars just because of the price. A little over priced for this type of hotel. Not 4 or 5 star accommodations. And some open projects that one would think would have been completed for the tourist season. Stephanie at the front desk was great. She did everything she could to make sure our stay was as good as it could be.

The room was pretty once we were able to force open the door and get in, but that was where it started going down hill. The refrigerator didn't work. The remote control was taped back together. The bathroom was like a match box. I paid extra for a view of the ocean and it was a peak-a-boo experience. I could have gotten the same view as the other rooms. I definitely expected something different for breakfast. I've gotten more from cheaper hotels.
We mistakenly thought we had booked 2 nights when we really had only 1. The staff was great and kept us in the same room. The breakfast was adequate and the beach access was excellent. The staff recommended some good restaurants. The bed was very comfy.
