We enjoyed our stay Seaside Inn. It was a one night stay on a Monday night so it was quiet. It is next to a bar/ live music venue so that could be a plus or negative depending on your perspective. I would have liked a table on chairs rather than a a single high boy chair and a counter. For one night it was fine.

Great spot in IOP. Very convenient to food, shopping, and beach. Rooms are kinda small.

The location makes the property. The reception area was cute and decorated according to the beach theme. The renovation/remodeling seemed to be done very hastily; at least in our room. I’m not sure you could call it a paint job. Paint was everywhere; except where it should be. Comforter and shower could definitely have been cleaner. I’m sure the elements of a beachside hotel make upkeep difficult (sat air, humidity, rust, etc) but this property definitely is showing signs. It’s a shame because it absolutely has potential and I can see the concept of the remodel was a good one…new floors, countertops, decor. I wanted the property to be a “5,” but I’d say a “2.5” or “3” is more suited. The elevator was also broken, and the property did try to compensate, but you must be ok with climbing a few steep steps; depending on room location.

Location fantastic. On beach and directly across from dining. Walkable. Room on first floor was dank and musty and chrome on chair rusted. Property a bit noisy. Parking just fine but you'll probably use overflow which is about 200 yds away.

The room we had was supposed to be a partial sea view room. It was partial city view. It is my belief that a partial ocean view room at this property is almost nonexistent. They have 6 oceanfront rooms. The rest were one normal sized window rooms that looked out at the building next door. Do not waste your money on partial sea view.

I was great to be right on the beach. Walked out into the sand with no shoes and had a view as well. They also provided beach towels. The staff was very friendly and upgraded our room because of the broken elevator. Did I mention the broken elevator? We were on the 3rd floor and had to lug up our modest luggage (guess that is why it is called luggage). Up and down was an extra work out and one guest ended up in the hospital after heart distress....he recovered and was upgraded to a great 1st floor room. The elevator was back in service on our last day unbeknownst to the desk clerk, but we discovered it in time to move our luggage. There was no accommodation for recycling, which is unconscionable this day and age. Parking was very limited and we first parked a few hundred feet away, but eventually secured parking under the building. I would stay there again.

Customer service is good but the property is very old. Don't feel fresh.

Location was terrific. Cleanliness was good. Property in midst of upgrading and needs more painting of doors.

Location. Location. Location. Also the staff was great!!!

Staff were friendly. A little pricy foe this time of year. Room was comfortable for the number of days i was there. Breakfast okay. Parking noy so good.

Perfect location. Breakfast was a joke. Rooms were good and updated. Close tot he beach.

Property is located ocean front with a private boardwalk to the beach. There are numerous restaurants, shops, and music venues within short walking distance. Limited parking under the hotel, but off-site parking was easy to find and a very short walk. I enjoyed my stay here and plan to return. Would love an oceanfront room next time. The sunrise was beautiful! It appears that this property is being updated which will only add to it’s charm.

Very centrally located close to all the restaurants and nght life. Very lively, safe and fun. Beach front property, even though we could not see the beach from our room. Plenty to do--walk on the beach, visit Sullivan's Island, Mt. Pleasant and Charleston. Friendly, helpful staff.

We practically had to kick our door in every time we came in. We could also clearly hear our neighbors

The room was absolutely disgusting. There was actual mold growing on the shower wall. I verified it could come clean by lightly scrubbing it with a hand rag. Moved the bed and literally had sand piled under the metal frame. The door or frame was bowed to the point that i took the bed by the door incase something happened so i could open it(sure its a fire hazard). The bathroom above the shower had a spot where the bath abive the unit has been leaking. The spot was warped and bkack mildew or mold was present. Beside the headboard the paint is waivy where moisture has gotten between the paint and sheetrock. Also... to top it off. When i got in the bed tbe first night... sand in the sheets was there to greet me. Would never even think about staying at this place again! The only reason they get a notch above the lowest rating is because the staff that works the office is absolutely amazing.
