There were stains on the white fitted sheets, which were covered in blue sheets. I asked the front desk for clean sheets, which did not seem to be cleaned. They smelled. I dont understand why in the world a hotel would use blue or colored sheets! They be can't bleached !! I felt very uncomfortable sleeping in the bed. The tube was clogged and pools were not clean at all. The only good thing was my view. Would not stay again.
People are very helpful and friendly. Front desk was a wealth of local knowledge. Nice Beach and pools. Lots of attractions and restaurants. The rooms we had we a bit dated. Trim slightly deteriorated, paint in corners starting to peel, things like that. But nothing functional and you have to be detail oriented to notice. Overall I would recommend it.
My husband and I were at the hotel for a Parrothead Party! We had a medical emergency late Friday night and needed benedryl. The manager Dillon Brown was there and realized we needed more than a little help. He walked us over to the small convenience store, bought the benedryl out of his own pocket. Called 911 for my husband and paid for the cab to get me to the hospital. He stayed with me until the cab arrived. I was all alone and very scared for my husband. All was fine at the end! Dillon went above and beyond. When I saw him the next day he asked how we were. Awesome customer service!!!!
While the amenities of this hotel were great, we won't be returning. The beds were terrible, could feel the springs and every time one of us moved during the night, they squeaked so loudly that it woke everyone up. Then, when I called the front desk to request clean towels, I was told I could not get any because they "didn't have any"... the hotel was not full (towels could have been retrieved from an empty room), and they offer both bath and pool towels, so how they could be completely out of both kinds is baffling. To me it was HORRIBLE customer service.
Stayed here over Labor day weekend. I booked through the website..painless. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms, grounds, hotel was very clean(my wife is a fanatic and it was up to her standards). They had indoor glow in the dark mini golf, nice size game room big outdoor water park conv store places to eat all on the property. The pool was nice short walk to the beach, plenty of parking. My only complaint was the hot tub it needs to be updated. All in all it was good. It is not the plaza but what place along the beach is? I would stay here again.
Positive points: -friendly and nice staff -good shower head Negative points: -old bedrooms with sticky floor -awful linen and towel quality (no hand towels at all) -old and terribly noisy AC -no place for luggage -dirty outdoor and indoor pool -no replacement for pool towels for the duration of your stay -small “water park” attending more than one hotel at the same time with very old facilities
The front desk staff and management at this hotel were amazing! They take their guests needs and wants seriously and try to accommodate as best as they can. Along side that the rooms are clean and spacious and the atmosphere is family friendly and fun! My experience with the hotel was wonderful. I want to especially thank Jasmine from the front desk and the Operations Manager, Dillon, for their exceptional service.
Rooms were clean, staff was nice, overall it was a great stay and I would come back again. I had a great view of the ocean from my balcony and all of the staff was really accommodating when/if we needed anything.
Nathan had the unfortunate assignment of trying to clean up someone else's mistake on top of continuing to make our stay as stress free as possible. He did all of that and more. Now we are currently on the beach with no worries thanks to his due diligence. Thanks a million, Nathan! Your abilities for great customer service are only matched by your kind words and great smile!
I’ll be brief. The elevators were broken. The rooms were ridiculously small. The decor is outdated and the customer service was nonexistent. There are a million other amazing hotels to choose from. This is not one of them.
