Needs an update.

it’s a very old place, needs major repairs. It smelled like complete smokes all the time. Overall the beach view beats all of that. But I would have liked to enjoy my stay but at this place I was just really disappointed.

Room was dirty had mold and mildew on walls in refrigerator on baseboards. Balcony door would not open. The place smelled of marijuana throughout the entire hotel. Hair was all over bathroom floor. Trash left beside bed. Lights went out that morning so couldn't see in room. Never stay here again o

It’s a decent hotel for the price the rooms Could have been a little more updated but overall not that bad.

The condition of the room was really bad the bathrooms was horrible ,the tiles had black stain.I am not coming back or referring a friend.

The views are spectacular but needs a bit of an upgrade and better TV quality.

Before booking I had called hotel and asked if there was a place to park my big trailer and I was told yes until we arrived. I ended up having to pay another hotel to park my trailer by paying additional fees. The manager lady was rude and singled out certain people to address issues to. The hotel beach bar was suppose to be opened and was not as well.

The place is clearly dated and could use an upgrade, but if new paint and carpet isn't what's important to you, then this place is perfect. It's beach front, you can get an efficiency room with balcony and ocean view at an affordable price. They also have a nice outdoor bar and grill. I was satisfied.

So dirty and falling down. The pictures they posted are NOT this place. It was the worst hotel ever.

I overall enjoyed my stay. This property does have quirks, and unfortunately I was one of the guests that had a cockroach in their room. That said, the highly available and accommodating 24 hour staff, comfortable and nice-looking rooms, and immediate beach access (With a nice back deck area that has access to 4 showers and a bar/restaurant) make it a very worthwhile stay. I hope to come back when everything is open (The indoor pool, hot tub, etc.) and when there isn’t a horrible storm and a pandemic taking place. Are there many opportunities to improve? Certainly. However, I feel like I got what I paid for and I was generally comfortable. Just wish the dryers worked. I suspect the vents need to be cleaned out because the machine ran hot, it just didn't dry my clothes. You will find quirks during your stay here, but it shouldn't deter you if your goal is to simply have immediate beach access from a comfortable hotel.

My family and I were pleased with our whole expierence at the Sun and Tan resort. Our room was beautiful and staff were very accomodating. We enjoyed it so much we extended our vacation while visiting. We will for sure be back !!

I guess you get what you pay for. Common areas were dirty. My wife killed a cockroach in the hall. Outside our room was a bunch of trash and dirt, we asked the front desk multiple times and cleaning personnel and it didn’t get cleaned. The water pressure was absent. There are 2 luggage carts for the whole building. They have done some renovations to the rooms but it’s purely cosmetic. Would not recommend even for the price.

The hotel has seen better days, the bathroom in the room was suppose to be for the handicap was in need of repair.

Loved the kitchenette, the balcony had a GREAt view of the beach and it was a ton of fun! The only minor issue was the balcony door was super heavy or off-track so hard to move, but that was nothing compared to the great service and stay here:)
