We checked in to this hotel and were pleased with our choice to stay here. The room was clean and spacious and the price was reasonable. Greeted at check in by friendly staff and would stay here again.
We stopped here twice on a recent trip south, at both ends of the trip. The first stop was ok, though I understand from family members that the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. My husband and I were okay with the bed. On the way back we stopped again. Upon entering our room, we were surprised to find that a guest was already in there. We apologized to him, and went back to the front desk. The clerk was very apologetic and offered us a discount, but my son-in-law asked for a room with 2 beds, to avoid the sofa bed. We did receive a large handicapped room, and the beds were great. We hustled out for dinner and upon return found that we had overlooked an overflowing trashcan filled with empty beer cans. I quickly placed it into the hallway. The coffeepot was missing from the coffeemaker. Obv housekeeping didn't quite finish the job. Breakfast was a standard one received in these type hotels but plentiful and hot when supposed to be. Walls/ceilings are thin. Be prepared to hear people stomping around. We had picked this place based on previous reviews but I guess I expected a little more.
This hotel is ideal for a family or 4 -5 members for a stopover. Prices are reasonable and rooms are spacious. The breakfast is the typical one based on sausage, eggs and bacon with some pastries, coffee and toast, not exceptional but still rather acceptable.
I am the Coach of a team and we were on a long trip - one of our players left our van door open in the parking lot as we checked in for the night. The outstanding security team here noticed our van door open, coordinated with the front desk, who called me to let me know the door was open and that security would remain with our vehicle until I could get down there. Mind you, this was at 11 PM after we had arrived around 10:30. I also had accidentally left my wallet at the front desk when I was checking in, and Marcus had already hand-delivered it to my room! I can't say enough about how well their whole team handled everything during our trip, and really went above and beyond. Marcus remembered me when we stopped there again on our way back home and went out of his way to say a quick hello, while he was helping check someone else in. We would have been in big trouble without the team at this hotel doing such a fantastic job - it wasn't their fault or responsibility that I left my wallet at the desk, and that we left our door open in the parking lot, and it certainly made more work for them at almost midnight - but that did not stop them from doing the job. We are so appreciative - THANK YOU COMFORT SUITES FLORENCE!!!!! - Mike
On March 25, 2018, my wife, granddaughter, & I were traveling through Florence, SC on our way to Myrtle Beach and decided to check out lodging accommodations in Florence. We were surprised at the wide variations in prices in the area for a single-night stay. They ranged from around $69.00 to $159.00. Not wanting bed bugs, nor to be over-charged, we opted for the mid-priced Comfort Suites at $107.00, prior to taxes and fees, bringing the total price to around $120.00. The entire building was relatively new, the rooms were clean and spacious, and the beds were comfortable. There was also a sleeper sofa for our granddaughter, microwave, and a mini-fridge, etc. The complimentary breakfast had almost anything one could want, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffles, etc. We were well-pleased with our lodging accommodations and will stay at Comfort Suites again, the next time we travel through Florence, SC.
Traveling from Naples to Boston our first overnight was in Florence, SC. I randomly picked Comfort Suites because it had fairly high ratings and is fairly new. Were we lucky! Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. What made our stay , even though brief, was the desk clerk, Marcus. What a gentleman and an efficient employee you have, Comfort Suites. Marcus took the time to make us feel welcomed and when I asked he took the time to recommended an excellent restaurant. He is a credit to your company and should go far with you! Thank you CS and thank you, Marcus , for making our one night stay so pleasurable!
We spent one night on a trip north. The bed was very comfortable. The rooms are designed well. Nice size mini fridge, fast WIFI, lots of charging ports, good breakfast. This is a new hotel and the did it right.
My husband and I have not stayed there recently but in the past, many times and enjoyed you hospitality and fine breakfast. I especially enjoyed your extremely comfortable bed. We are shopping for a new one in our home and thought yours were Beautyrest. I would so appreciate if you can tell me more and details. Thank you and look forward to another visit.
