My daughter had an 18 hour lay over at dfw and we wanted her to be at a safe place. This hotel was amazing. Kristen took care of her like she would her own family. We were worried with her being alone but Kristen made sure she was in main building and set our minds at ease. I cannot day enough good kings about this sweet lady. Our daughter said dinner was great and breakfast as well she was able to study for an upcoming test and relax before her next trip. There was even a towel elephant on her bed like a cruise ship!! Amazing service. Thank you Kristin IMG_0112.JPG
I often work in the DFW area and have stayed at a group of hotels in the Irving area. The one that I have stayed at the most if the TownePlace Suites by Marriott. First of all, you need to know this is the lower end of the Marriott chain and is more like an extended stay. The rooms have kitchenettes with a fridge, stove, and microwave. While this hotel is on the lower end, the staff has been tremendous. They call me by name when I get there, when I leave, and when they see me during the week. If I ever have any issues or special requests, they take care of it for me. The hotel is close enough to walk to a few fast food places, and if using a car, close to some good sit downs too. For the money, this is a good value.
Stayed here when traveling to compare to other close range extended stay hotels, room was fine, but had quite a few cleanliness issues. Around the property, there’s a few things they haven’t kept up with. This specific property has a few things other TownePlaces don’t, such as an outdoor basketball court (though the backboard sags a bit), they also have an evening reception, although the food is almost always terrible and only lemonade for a non-alcoholic beverage choice, but I guess they’re not required to do it, so.. Breakfast is fine, has pretty extensive offerings. Overall not too bad of a property, would return
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Kristen was friendly at check-in, she explained all the amenities and made good conversation. Thanks for keeping me in the same building so I didn’t have to re-park my car. Also liked the welcome bag for platinum members. Redeemed points for this stay and got a great deal (Category 1). The hotel is older but well maintained and clean. Being a Towneplace, room was obviously large. Though I only stayed one night, I’d definitely be comfortable staying long term. Free breakfast, parking, and WiFi were all nice. My favorite part by far is the hotel market is stocked with tons of Blue Bell!! Wish I had the chance to get some. I would definitely return to this place. Highly recommended.
We stayed here for 12 nights as my husband was visiting a nearby clinic for medical treatment. Right from the beginning , over the phone, when we made our booking Reggie (the manager)was pleasant and helpful in reducing our rates for the longer stay. When we arrived Kristen upgraded our room and was always cheerful and helpful in all our requests. Our room was spacious & comfortable. Loved having a full kitchen to cook our meals in the room. Breakfast and M-W dinners were complimentary Pros: - Large spacious room - breakfast & some dinners provided - pleasant staff - full kitchen - complimentary shuttle to medical clinic Negatives: - only queen beds (no King sized beds) - thin scratchy towels - carpet starting to fray in family room area - breakfast eggs were over cooked - dinner food not very good (I really shouldn’t complain about the quality of the dinners as I wasn’t expecting to have complimentary dinners. It was a nice feature, though not gourmet) Overall we had a very pleasant stay!
PROS: -newly renovated -cute towel animal -kitchenette -bigger room with good amenities -strong wifi -comfortable bed -walking distance to some fast food/restaurants CONS: -thin towels -dark hallways -room could have been cleaner -bathtub and fixtures were not part of the renovation Overall it was a good enough for a one night stay.
Beautiful service and staffing. Felt like I was at the ritz Carlton. Shout outs to them too btw. But my stay here was magical. By me staying here it opened up new opportunity in my life. Thank you Paola for being you. - GOD
Had a great experience staying in this hotel. Loved to see the Art presentation by staff in the room on arrival after a long travel. Great front desk staff and overall a great place to stay. Always a pleasure to stay in Townplace. Would love to visit again in future.
I had a lovely 2 bedroom in this hotel. The service was good and the breakfast was also good. The manager was very friendly to us. He held our luggage for us until we left for our return flight home. I would stay there every time that I return to Dallas.
The room was bigger than we expected and everything about the room, including the full kitchen, exceeded my wife and I's expectations. This was our first time away as our in-laws watched our 4 children and will definitely be staying at this hotel again!
