The hotel and staff were very nice an helpful, close to venue

Nice hotel beautiful old luxurious close to American airlines convention center staff fabulous especially Kevin our bell hop th as nk you for a great stay

Great stay! Hotel staff is very pleasant and complimentary.

The staff was especially attentive. Very conscientious. My room was spacious and well-appointed. The only negative was the $32 fee for overnight parking. But it’s a great location very convenient to the cultural district.

Great staff and location. Great service, nice hotel, good food. Only downside is pool set-up. A logistical nightmare. Not the staff’s problem. It is an operational issue. Lack of chairs and and useable space Never enough towels!?! So easy to fix too: more towels. More chairs. Get rid of useless plants and open up space. Music way to loud too. It could be great outside experience!

Very clean and great location, friendly staff, room was very spacious with great view, close to parks and restaurants.

Check was great. There was fruit infused water, punch, candy, and gummy bears. The room had the great view and in good area.

This was my first time staying at The Fairmont. The hotel Staff was so friendly and always there to lend a hand. I was in town for a show at the Fig. It was literally right across the street. Loved having a Starbucks in the hotel. My room was huge and very clean. This will be my go to spot when I come again in October

We loved everything about our stay here. The hotel was beautiful, centrally located and had friendly and helpful staff. Parking was pricey but clearly advertised so we knew that going in. The Pyramid restaurant was delicious and they have a giant gym!!

Heart of downtown near Aquarium, Art Museum, transportation stops was most important for us this trip. Room (especially bed) was comfortable. Wish they had better/different soaps/shampoo. Front desk is small/hidden considering size of hotel. Halls and lighting dim and dated. Starbucks on ground floor convenient. Street noise was a problem (sirens at all hours; we were on the 6th floor).

The hotel is in a great location. Food in the hotel restaurant is very good. Room service is a little slow, but good as well.

Nice staff at the front desk but they had way too many issues pulling my reservation, then they blamed it on Orbitz, finally, after a long wait the girl was kind enough and after making several calls I got a Room. Room was OK Nothing out of the ordinary. I had to call back for my folio and they couldn't even find the reservation. This hotel needs either a better system or more organization. Thanks.

The Fairmont Dallas was my worst hospitality experience ever. I landed at DFW at 11:30. Called the hotel to say I would be arriving late. The switchboard answered but said I needed to talk to the front desk. Desk never answered after 10 minutes on line, so I took Uber downtown, arriving at 12:30. Despite guaranteed late arrival, was informed that the hotel was "overbooked" (meaning that they sold my room to collect $400 twice), but that they would get me into the Hyatt. They gave a letter asking the Hyatt to give me a room and one phone call, like I was headed to the county jail. At the Hyatt, I was told that the letter was for the Hyatt DFW, 40 minutes away. Returning to the Fairmont they said oops sorry, put me in a cab to the Hyatt. I had booked at gold level executive room with lounge access. Returning late afternoon the next day, several more mistakes and delays were encountered, but finally I was given a large suite. It was not a great room, the shower was anemic, but it was large and had a board room table. The gold lounge turns out to charge $7-$15/drink. The suite had the standard minibar with automated charging if you touch a bottle to see what it is. Pretty cheesy for a Fairmont. With the long delay coming and returning and coming from the airport, I was exhausted the second day and did not have a room to use during the day. I understand airlines have troubles, but I can't see the excuse for a hotel denying a prepaid room. This is not a legitimate Fairmont.

We were so happy to go to Fairmont Dallas on Vacation. But the hotel wasn't up kept well. The bathroom had a slow moving drain which they never fixed. The faucet handles were broken and several Fitness equipment machines were broken so you couldn't use them properly. The pool was great size for laps but there were a lot of ants all over the pool. The hotel was located downtown close to the Dallas museum and Dallas world aquarium. The Fairmont in San Francisco is so much better.

We booked the king suite of the Fairmont and overall it was an enjoyable stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, the views were wonderful, the lobby was quaint and decorated beautifully, and the staff was very friendly. Staying in the king suite, I expected it to be the most kept up room in the hotel - and it may be - but it was very outdated. The toilet looked like it was installed 30+ years ago. There were light bulbs out that I purposely left on for house keeping but were never changed, and several small details left undone. Overall the king suite was barely sub-par for what I expected and paid. I'd stay there again, but only for a super discounted rate.
