Property had no water for several hours, after waiting for hours till the moment I needed to check out then they tried to offer another room so I can shower which could have been done 4 hours earlier but they just played the customers down additional to not giving me the room I originally booked. Awful experience. Not worth the price

Bathroom is extremely small and no self parking

good place!

I don’t like I have to pay for parking and it took some time for them to bring my car during checkout. Not that big of a deal though.

This hotel on paper is a good bang for your buck, BUT this one time 4/5 star is now a 3 start hat is falling apart with NYC 5 star pricing. Peeling wallpaper - DARK rooms- bathrooms with toilets like you would find in a park. Valet 42 a night. Martini - $30 - no bedside water - no coffee in the lobby unless you want to wait in line for Starbucks. Housekeeping made the bed and no more.

There was a problem with Orbitz giving the reservation to the hotel and they were very nice and still checked us in. They gave us an upgrade because of the mix up. The only thing I didn't like is that we had to pay for internet.

All

Nice place. Breakfast too expensive.

With the price we paid per night for the hotel, we were surprised we had to PAY for intranet service. Looking forward to bathrobe as stated in room description and none were in room. It was nice to have a Starbucks on site. Good access to restaurants within walking distance. Valet and Concierge service very good.

I stayed at the Fairmont while on business participating at a nearby event. When I checked into the hotel there were no problems at check-in, I presented my credit card, ID and reservation information at the desk and was kindly given the key to my room. However at 1:30am a woman started banging on my door for 15 minutes claiming that the room was her’s. Assuming she had the wrong room number I told her through the door that the room was occupied. At 2:00am a very large man, in plain clothing banged on the door demanding to see my credit card and ID. He claimed that I had to open the door or I would loose the room and be kicked out of the hotel. This was terrifying. I called to speak with the manager, who blamed me for some kind of issue with Orbitz and my credit card, despite the fact that I had presented all of this information at check-in with no problems. The next morning I went to speak to the manager who informed me that “everything is fine.” They refused to acknowledge the horrific situation, and they passed me around to several people who would not apologize for their error. I was in Dallas for business and with jet lag and this horrific treatment by hotel staff, needless to say functioning the next day was very difficult. The hotel made no offer to do anything to remedy the situation. I will never stay at this hotel again, and my business organization will no longer be recommending the Fairmont.

The property was close to everything we wanted to see. I didn’t like that absolutely no one told us that we could order room service, extra tp/tissue, etc., through our phones when we checked in!! In addition, we valeted the car everyday because there was no other parking (that we knew of) and the hotel still charged us for valet.

Convenient to so many places & things

They were remodeling some area which is good. The vanity space was small, but we enjoyed our stay.

It was close to the folks I was visiting. Nice rooms although the wall art was the same in both rooms. View was beautiful.
