Check in was quick and friendly staff. Valet service was always quick and convenient. The room was spacious and made our 7 day stay feel like we were in an apartment rather than a hotel. The evening cookies service is such a simple thing that adds value to your stay - a fun way to end a long day. We used the shuttle service to attend events at AAC, which was convenient and never waited more than 15 minutes for rides. We would definitely stay here again!

We could do early check-in So it was great! The room was lovely... but the bed was a bit small.

Great experienced staying with you. Staff is friendly, rooms are nice and neatly. Definitely do recommend for a night to stay here.

Our experience with hotel staff was great, including valet. We were upgraded to a suite which was very large. The room was clean but older than many hotels and the room was dark. We only stayed one night and would likely not stay again although there were no issues.

Great historic hotel in a fantastic location. Very close to restaurants and entertainment

One the front desk employees, Kevin, was amazing. He made our check in very easy and enjoyable. He was very funny and personable. It was a great first impression of the hotel. Overall the rooms were nice and comfortable!

Excellent!! Highly recommend!! Looking forward to my next stay at the Magnolia. The ONLY negative is the $25.00 nightly parking.

Had a very nice time at the Magnolia. Large room with view, comfortable bed, very quiet. Enjoyed the weekend brunch, evening cookies.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I loved the cookies and milk time. I wish I had been around for Wednesday happy hours. The fitness room is well equipped.

Beautiful older hotel, kept real clean very spacious rooms

Room was much larger than expected, with vaulted ceilings and even a parlor. The staff at the Magnolia was excellent, and I would highly recommend their quaint hotel bar: Knowledgable and friendly bartenders, great service and fun crowd. Murph was awesome!

Nicely situated, friendly staff, clean large rooms. I just didn't like the fact that the room was very dark. Dark brown colour and very little daylight reached the room.

Located in the heart of downtown next to the Joule and Niemans I was taken by the hotel's claim to be a boutique and its iconic location. Arriving at the hotel I was immediately disappointed by the uninspired lobby. The check in experience wasn't terrible but the staff's lack of understanding of the area and where I could get a late dinner was disappointing. I was located on the 22nd floor which definitely afforded some nicer views. If you stay in Dallas as much as I do you'll be happy to look at anything that isn't a parking lot. The room layout was quite decent but everything felt tired. The bed was quite comfortable but the desk and drawers looked knocked abut and in the bathroom the floor was spongy and many tiles were cracked. I wouldn't stay here again if I could help it but if it were the only option I wouldn't whine too much.

The hotel is really pretty but the rooms are a little dated and older feeling. Our room had windows on three sides with views which was great but then there was rope and mesh over all of them obstructing the view. Not sure why. Overall just eh. For the money I think there are nicer places downtown.

Pleasant surprise in the heart of downtown Dallas.

The hotel is beaten down and needs new carpet, paint, and furniture. I think they are using a chemical like Febreze all over because there was a strong chemical smell everwhere. I had a headache all day from it.

Great location for any downtown business. Easy in and out of downtown access.

Great location in downtown and easy to walk to things.

I loved the location of the hotel in itsome proximity to bars and restaurants. And the hotel staff as well as the valet were all very helpful. The only reasons I can't give it 5 starts is 1) the rooms seem a little dated and 2) the pipes burst during our stay so only one elevator was working. I know this isn't the hotel's fault but we had to wait 15 minutes for an elevator multiple times and call the front desk to have someone manually pick us up. Wouldn't be an issue but another guest said this was a frequent occurrence at this hotel.

Was a wonderful trip loved the room everyone over knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely stay again and recommend.
