I was kinda lost coming in. The front desk was very friendly. Diane, was very patient with me and kind. She even texted me to make sure I was comfortable with everything. The room was decent. Same as any other hotel in my opinion, but they have the rain shower head so I thought that was pretty cool cause I've never seen it at another hotel before. Very spacious. Some complaints I would have is that you have to pay for parking and the tv isn't clear.
Rooms are average no refrigerator or microwave in our room. No free breakfast no fruit or anything offered as a alternative no newspaper on weekends elevator very very slow hotel did not honor 3pm check out even though that's what we booked through Westin Customer care call Center also when we book parking fee was not mentioned SURPRISE!!! when we got there So if you call and don't check the website ask lots questions about fees. Check out guy was nice and explained charged to us when we checked out But We won't be back. Other then that the common area and bar very nice upscale parking cost but there a lot near by about block thats free to park at your own risk. Several car windows were busted out so we paid and parked in garage instead great hotel from what we could tell all the employees were smiling and very nice the bellman were the best I have ever seen Roof top Pool was nice lots of space for guest no towels stocked in pool bins had to go find our own. We had great time just few issues and for the hotel to be so nice we expected a little more.
Very comfortable hotel with all the expected amenities of a Westin hotel. Very clean, food was very good, the bar was bright (one of the only hotel bars that was actually used by guest), and staff was very friendly. Definitely on the list of favorites list in Dallas.
Have to give a huge shout out to the Westin Park Central and their leadership there. Jeremy Berlin you have done an amazing job turning this hotel and property around. We did an event there 4 years ago and said we would never go back. Thanks to Hank your Sales rep continuing to reach out and promising it would be a better experience we signed another contract. I have to give a shout out to all the amazing team who stood out to us during our stay and event. First, Phyllis was my contact and made sure I had staff to assist me with all the details. She always had a smile and an I be glad to attitude. Daisy, wow I would love to work with her daily!!, She is amazing and whoever gets to work with her is blessed to say the least. Mike & Luis along with their Team in Banquets always assisted with a smile. Nykke, wow can she call me every day? just hearing her voice makes you at ease. Thank Nykke for making sure all our reservations where taken care of and your attention to detail. To Ricardo who worked feverishly to make sure I didn't have to have 20 keys for my stay!! I appreciate all you did to help our staff. Erma in Housekeeping always worked around our schedule and was happy to help, the concierge lounge team was some of the best service I have seen. Free beverages and constantly clearing plates and offering any assistants hats off to Xochitl and Zaira. And Gary who handled the Valet parking with Grace and professionalism. So thankful he knows how to drive with a trailer!! Last but not least the best way to end an event props to Bartenders Jeff & Brittany at the Westin Park Central in Dallas, TX We hosted an event with over 1100 attendees and when I enjoyed a beverage at the end of the event and asked them how our group was they smiled and said they had never served so much coffee. Our group is an early morning late night and 3 long days. It was great to know that they received amazing service all weekend and I appreciate all the great things they had to say about our clients and guests!! The entire team at the Westin and for those of you who I didn't get to meet but made our stay for our team and clients a success, Way to represent!!!I look forward to seeing you all on our next visit. Spent 8 nights on a business trip to Dallas. Definitely didn't match my expectations based on some of the reviews I read prior to booking. Elevators are ageing and the hotel lobby felt like a train station at times due to a conference being held there.
Loved it ! I spent a full week there for business purposes and have nothing but good things to say about the entire experience. Healthy and refined cuisine - Staff at the restaurant was awesome, especially Julie ! She is very talented at relating with people and made excellent recommendations every time I had dinner there this week - Great job Julie ! Thx to everyone for making me feel like I was on vacation this week !
I have been a Westin hotel patron for many years but this is a really bad example of what used to be a quality business hotel. It has just been renovated and whatever they paid for the rooms to be re done they were ripped off. The room was missing the mini fridge with the mini bar items, there was a place for it but no fridge??? There were these black marks on the comforter - see picture. Our room didn't get maid service - to be fair we didn't leave the room until noon but still I have never had that happen in a Westin. We are SPG members and will now choose another brand within their group as Westin has gone south. This is the second one in a row that we have staid in and not had the normal good experience. We are done with Westin. I only gave it 2 stars because the staff were really nice.
I was pleasantly surprised by our stay here. Was really, really nice. I stayed here probably 10 years ago and it was just okay. Decided to give it another shot since there were renovations, and it really has improved alot. Price is hard to beat - especially on Priceline, so that's a good start. Check in was super fast, and employees were friendly. Lobby area is quite beautiful and expansive. Bar looked fun. Our room was very large, and the heavenly bed was great as usual. Maybe a tad firmer than I'd have liked. Bathrooms were very pretty and nicely appointed. Halls were quiet. Checkout was easy. Wifi was complimentary! Was a really great stay. Only negative here is that parking is pricey - $27/16. But there is a lot down the street. It's about a 2 minute walk and worth it since it's free. Doesn't seem the safest, but it's well lit. We'll be back sooner this time. Nicely done, Westin. A great improvement.
I enjoyed my stay there very much. I visited the bar while there and was served by Maranda. She was amazing! So helpful and pleasant. I received just the right amount of attention. Even when she was busy. I felt like an honored guest. I'll definitely stay there again. ~Coley the MomInShaman
Well, to start off; I was early about 3 hours. They staff person told me that they were cleaning rooms and would get mine soon but, they had 20+ people ahead of me. So, I went to the bar. Met the bartender name of Jack. He was great. He checked on my room 3 times himself and it wasn't ready. Well, guess what? They forgot me. I went to check if my room was ready and the girl behind the counter asked had I checked in? I mean I guess she was new. But, I had been up since 3 am and it 3 pm and I can in one of those small American Airline eagle 90 passenger planes and I ma 6' 3" tall. So, to say the least it was not a fun flight. However, the manager did make it up to me. I came back to my room my last night there and had a hand signed letter of apology and turkey wrap. They also apologized again at my departure on Friday. So, all in all not to bad. They did acknowledged their mistake and made good. That is why I gave a 4. The hotel was great clean, neat and great food and staff.
