This hotel is within walking distance of the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center. Friendly people at front desk. Clean rooms.

Love the style of this hotel especially for the price. Will definitely stay here again when we return to Dallas!

Great hotel, funky, fun, clean and great price. The minute we waked in the hotel after parking very close to entrance we knew we had made a good decision.

A 1929 railroad station that was remodeled into a hotel. Great idea and great use of an old bldg but the design is a bit odd to me. It's a mix between new urban design and incomplete walls. So when you walk to the reception desk which is an island in the middle of busted up concrete wall, it is uncertain if you are walking in the middle of a construction zone or if they ran out of money or if they were trying to make a statement. In the rooms it is the same theme. An incomplete look mixed with new and it's easy to see that is the theme they were aiming for in the rooms . They have awards on the wall and they have some nice reviews, so they are doing something right. They also have a little bar and pool table area in the middle of the lobby which is unique. The front door is located at the side of the bldg where it looks like it used to be a ramped loading dock. It's not bad, it's just not for everyone and can be kind of confusing as to whether they are done with construction or not. Once again though, kudos to the idea of facility reuse.

Upon arriving I was upgraded, which sounded nice until I entered my room. The wallpaper was peeling and was ripped in places. The furniture was all plastic and uncomfortable and the lack of a traditional closet and dresser didn't provide a level of hominess during an extended stay. Also, when accessing clothes from the shelving unit, a syringe fell to the floor. Luckily the needle was separated from the tube and in a container; regardless, it was something that I didn't care for and speaks to the lack of cleanliness of the room.

Was a very clean hotel staff was very nice. A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Thank you, Night Audit employee at desk young man was great

The staff was not friendly, Had to pay for parking, there was bodily fluids on the pillows there was not a free breakfast only cofee and for 125.00 a night i would not recommend this to anyone ever..

This is a different kind of hotel. Loved the atmosphere and decor. It's also conveniently located across from the convention center and in downtown Dallas, where you can walk to many great restaurants. The staff was very friendly as well.

The room was clean, stafff was helpful when asked about local restaurants near hotel. The location was great for walking to and from restaurants and convention center.

Hotel built in refurbished office building. The 1st floor / lobby design kept the feel of the old building style but with modern furnishings. Location is across from park in front of convention center. Not much going on downtown, so the travel to uptown encountered very little traffic. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Only issue was the lack of a door on the bathroom!!?! Just not used to that type of open concept.

A very cool, trendy hotel and room, with a convenient adjacent parking lot. Fun and no hassles... Love it ! One of my favorites in Dallas ! can'rt be beat if you need to be near Downtown, Uptown, Market Center, or Oak Lawn areas...

The aloft Downtown is a great hotel, that has a convenient adjacent parking lot with easy in and out. Staff is friendly and accommodating.... Highly recommend !

Very nice location and friendly staff. Clean modern feel

Very enjoyable experience for the most part; however the refreshment area downstairs was misleading as to what was complementary and what was not.

The atmosphere and location were great for getting around town and being within walking distance of House of Blues. The biggest highlight was the reception staff. They were extremely friendly and personable placing them far above the average hotel desk reception that I've seen time and again at other locations. The only minor issue my family and I had was that there were no ice machines located on the floors and you had to get (Free) bagged ice down in the main lobby. Again minor but worth a note.

This hotel could be really special, but it doesn't have any customer service. Non, ditto!! It seems to be run by kids. The carpet on the 8th floor halls are pretty dirty and has a dead animal smell. We were in Dallas to see Journey in concert, so pretty casual trip. A couple of positives were great bed and pillows and the view. I definitely think this hotel could be something really unique. Hopefully they can get it under control before it goes under.

Loved the hotel!!! I've stayed at the one in Frisco and this location is great. We enjoyed everything!

I will definitely stay here again! Great staff, bar and wonderful lounge area plus several great restaurants just a few blocks away. I loved the loft idea of the rooms and the in-room coffee was surprisingly delicious. I travel a lot and thought this was an exceptional hotel for the price!

Previously stayed down the street the night before and couldn't stay there another night. Made a reservation here and LOVED it!
