Canvas Hotel Dallas

I liked that it wasnt the standard drywall and paint look.

Canvas has very cool, chic industrial decor and artwork displays. Studio style rooms are unique, spacious and comfortable. It's different from anyplace I've ever stayed. Good food, drinks and ambiance. The rooftop is incredible! I really appreciated the front desk staff's hospitality. I've read others complain about the bed, linens and pillows, but I thought that they were quite comfortable and slept like a baby. My room did have exposed concrete floors but was not a problem for me. I realize that may not suite everyone's taste, but I found that to be part of the charm. I'd like to return to Dallas just to visit Canvas again!

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, but the breakfast service left a lot to be desired which was a pain considering there aren’t any other options in the area.. Also, I was there for business and had to print something out and one of the two computers wasn’t working while the other couldn’t connect to the internet.

Very modern hotel in an old sears warehouse building. Right when you walk in you can tell you are in for an experience. All of the staff that we came into contact with were amazing. The rooms are awesome and the bed....very comfortable. The food was great. The best part of it all is the rooftop bar and pool. You grab a drink a little bite to eat and relax in the infinity pool overlooking downtown Dallas with an amazing sunset!

Great stay. My first NYLO stay was at the Las Colinas location in June and I was hooked. I stayed 2 more times in NYLO Dallas Southside in July!:). Great hotel, service is A1. Can’t wait to return!:)

Ambiance was great. Bathroom smelled of mold or stale moisture. Pool was very small but cool.

Beautiful stay, great room and staff was fantastic

Loved the location right by Deep Ellum. Great rooftop bar with good appetizers. Rooms were big and inviting and the staff was very friendly

Very young crowd. Milleenials should love this. Boomers not so much.

Clean room, comfortable bed, spacious. Staff was courteous and very helpful. Was not expecting bare concrete floors (buffed, waxed, well-cared) the concrete ceiling, the brick walls, and exposed HVAC and plumbing, but it added to the charm of this building with a lot of history. Enjoyed the stay!

Beauitful location in a reasonably quite part of town for a big city. Love the ambience of this hotel. Sweet roof top pool with a great view. Had a nice view from our room as well. Staff was excellent. This is my new favorite place to stay when visiting Dallas. Gilley's is within walking distance and Poor David's is practically next door.

Welcoming and comfortable . The food was amazing ‘

Pleasant staff, clean rooms, nice rooftop with great views and a bar, free parking. Very pleased with the stay.

I had a peaceful and pleasant stay at the hotel. The guests were quiet, the atmosphere serene.

My husband an I stayed there for our small weekend honeymoon. We paid upfront and through Orbitz. We paid extra for the Deluxe King room, which was on the 5th floor. The first night there, there was a techno DJ there till midnight and we could hear the music and all the stomping the whole night. We asked about being moved the next day when we realized they were throwing ANOTHER rooftop party till 2am. There was no where else to move us, except a regular size room, which they could not give us money back for because we paid through Orbitz they said. The guy gave me 2 free rounds of alcohol and some earplugs for the noise. Luckily there was either a fight, or it started raining, because it ended at 1am. The morning desk attendants were also told of the noise complaint, but couldn't do any kind of compensation because of paying through Orbitz again. This was very unfortunate, because if we would have known this was a party hotel, we would have picked somewhere else. The hotel is BEAUTIFUL!! If someone is staying during a weekday, it would be much quieter, but we had horrible timing. Also, the shuttle service was just a few employees that would drive you somewhere, IF the ONE vehicle wasn't being used. We ended up using Uber instead.

Great embellishments in the room. Nice furniture, interesting layout, comfortable bed, too noisy though with the non insulated glass and the noisy truck riddled street below.

Over priced. Squeaky noisy bed. Terrible drinks. Only good thing about this place is the view.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience with the breakfast service and business center, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of. Sincerely, Tom
