The hotel seems like a good business stop where The "company" pays your hotel expenses rather than you personally. Very expensive to eat in their Dining Room. Valet parking was nice but not worth the daily fees especially when there were days you didn't need the car. The hotel had plenty of parking spaces but was only for valet service. Otherwise you had to park on the street. There was free coffee offered in the hotel lobby but if you went into the dinning room to eat, you paid $4 for your coffee. Hotel said in their directory complimentary transportation to Love or DFW Airport. But when you checked @ the front desk, it was to Love Airport only. Too far to go for DFW Airport. There was no literature display available in the lobby, concerning things to do or visit in the Dallas area.
Beautiful hotel. Extremely well trained and friendly staff.
This hotel is old. Plain and simple. There's nothing wrong with that if you like charm but be ready for musty hallways and room. The room is clean, it could use some updating but it's clean. There is so much heavy fabric everywhere dusting is out of the question and your allergies will know it. The room is large and the set up is lovely. Once the AC is turned up the musty goes away and the bed is comfortable. The shower is hot and the bathroom in nice. Like the other guests there is noise. I was on the 5th floor and could hear everything down below. For some reason there was blaring music at 6 am, no idea why. It's not the hotels fault, it is what it is. The only truly negative is the front desk girl when I checked out. She was pleasant but completely unhelpful. I had to be out of the room by 1 pm or they were going to charge me $50 per hour until 4 PM and then after 4 there would be a full night charged. Mind you, I was alone with no car and had no where to put my stuff while I worked. Also, the shuttle only takes you to very close places. She told me I could call a cab. I had meetings until 5 that day and my plane didn't leave until 8 pm. So, no where to change, clean up or relax. This was a monday afternoon, the hotel was not full. I had to lug my stuff me the rest of the day. I will not be back, there are other hotels who understand travelers needs and the charm was not enough to make my stay pleasant.
Beautifully decorated large rooms, an outstanding restaurant, convenient location - the Warwick Melrose has it all. Best of all truly helpful staff!
Very good lighting and internet access. Good charging stations in the rooms. Good hotel restaurant. You can choose quiet or activity.
Bernie at the front desk is great and will take care of you.
Overall nice stay. Good location, nice staff, clean room.
This is the fourth stay at this hotel!! Like the location to shopping & downtown
Nice stay, slightly overpriced but a nice hotel nonetheless
Good place for rest after many activities. Could use a better selection of channels and have the bathroom more updated but easily felt with.
Beautiful classy hotel. Rooms are very large, staff was incredibly helpful and nice. The bar on Friday night was rocking!
Great hotel but valet is a bit of a pain Great hotel but valet is a pain Great hotel but valet is a bit of a pain Great hotel but valet is a pain Great hotel but valet is a bit of a pain Great hotel but valet is a pain.
great hotel, everything was clean and perfect. staff very professional and attentive.
Elegant lobby with some old time quality remaining. Little things missing. Food very expensive. Room service was excellent. Restaurant service not so much. Shuttle service existed but was not always available.
Beautiful old school hotel. Outstanding client service from check-in to check-out. Excellent bar and excellent breakfast.
Not a fan of the large table in the middle of the Bar area as you walk in the front entrance. Patrons on right cannot see the paino player. Been some time since I stayed but don't believe it was there in stays past.
Came for a wedding, they made the stay amazing and upgraded us.
Can't say enough about this wonderful hotel. So much nicer than a big chain. Location is within walking distance to excellent shopping and dining. They have a free shuttle that will drop you off and pick up from places nearby.
My first trip to Dallas in many years and the Warwick Melrose made me want to extend my stay. Great location, great staff, and great service.
