The front desk and customer service is terrible. I've been given the go around just trying to understand why I was being charged for certain items.
Lovely. Nice place
This property is very nice in the lobby, but the rooms are very dated. My room had an usual smell (which I was planning on just ignoring) and was very warm when I got in. I went to dinner and came back, and the room was 85 degrees. I went down at 11:30 PM to tell them and the person behind the desk offered to get the engineer... I eventually switched rooms but overall the rooms are old, poorly designed, and now I've got random charges from the hotel that I'm not sure what they are. Not that great for the money.
Everthing was good except the woman who checked us in. Very negative initial greeting, but good otherwise.
very nice
On one of the coldest weekends in Dallas our heater did not work the first night. It was a constant 64 degrees the first night. We checked in late and did not realize it wasn’t getting warmer in the room until the middle of the night. Not good for our children. Upon raising an issue with the staff we were told it would be taken care of. Never received a call back or notification that it was fixed. When we arrived back to the hotel the 2nd night we brought it up and we’re told that they knew nothing about it and would send an engineer up. Turns out all that was needed was for the unit to be reset and filter changed out. Come on guys. For $300/night I expect better.
No microwave or refrigerator in room. Outside street noise penetrated room. Rooms need better sound proofing. No ice machine on floor.
A sign to the spa would be behooving... A shout out to Natalia at the front desk for her kindness and attention. Everyone was super nice. Everything was clean and tidy. I recommend a visit to see Kelli, she gives a great hair treatment and made me feel right at home! Hotel is only minutes from food and entertainment. I would visit again!
Beautiful building, modernized fir technology. New construction across street made for noisy morning and afternoon. Pool is lovely, quiet. Elegant dinning room no longer serves dinner- sad. Would go back in a heartbeat.
Beautiful property in the Oak Lawn neighborhood. Close to downtown area.
We needed a last minute room in Dallas and the Warwick was one of the only 4 stars available. Would have stayed at The Crescent if possible. Warwick is a beautiful landmark building and entrance was impressive, but we were disappointed upon entering the tired lobby. It's in need of a renovation and decorating overhaul. Lighting was deadly and uninviting. They could even get away with a good paint job, new carpeting /seating and lighting! The library bar was dark and cozy, but felt like an outdated, Mens only University Club - old school. Great for a different generation! That said, the Saturday night entertainment was a nice treat - a fun throwback to the 50's - not quite Cafe Carlyle, but still intimate and entertaining. Our room was "updated" within the last 10 years - nice enough facelift, but no dresser for clothes. closet door kept falling off the track:( We requested a last minute rollaway for our College son who decided (at 10pm ) to spend the night with us, they were going to check for us, but never returned the call. If you're okay with overpaying for a 3 star with so much potential, you'll be perfectly happy!
Grear Location, nice room and fitness center. Grear staff all very happy and helpful
Very clean and elegant. The only bad part were the constant sirens of the passing by firetrucks and ambulences. I think they might be close to a fire station? I was on the 6th floor and could still hear them loud and clear 20 times a day/night.
