Nice room and ambiance

Great

The property amenities.

I enjoyed the room itself as the bathroom was huge! That did feel luxurious. However, I was disappointed with everything else. First of all, their pool was closed "until further notice." The pool was a huge reason I booked this hotel in the first place. Apparently the pool pump was broken about 3 weeks before. Why didn't they contact all the reservations to tell them this as soon as this happened? I would have changed hotels. Secondly, there is no "on demand" or any other type of in-room movie rental service. I was shocked by this. It's like, no pool -- oh and by the way, no movies either? I thought this was supposed to be a high-class hotel. Third, my interactions with the staff were sub-par, to say the least. The valet guys in particular were uninformed and unhelpful. I asked them where a particular restaurant was (which was less than a block away) and they had no idea what I was talking about. I let that go, but what made me angry was the next morning. I had scheduled an Uber to take me to the airport, but it never showed and I could not get a hold of the driver so I decided to get a cab. I asked the front desk to get me a cab and was told they could not use their phones because their entire system was down (once again, the problems with this hotel just kept piling up), and so the gentleman at the front desk told me to go ask the valets outside to call me a cab. I promptly did that, and was told to go inside and ask the front desk. I will never stay here again!!!

I had a good time.

Staff was generally nice. Water was off for part of my stay. The staff didn’t make me aware of the many restaurants and bars located in the building. Wasn’t told about the pools. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone I know.

The staff was very accommodating. Within walking distance or a short cab/uber ride of many places; but everything we needed was on the premises, so we didn't have to leave the hotel if we didn't want.

Nope

Valet parking was a little slow, However I would definitely recommended this hotel.

Hello, This was the worst hotel stay of my life. I’ve never been so disappointed. Basic necessities and services were not provided. I felt like a hostage to the hotel with no access to food. It was truly a scary experience. We ended up walking through the snow looking for food. As there was not even a microwave or refrigerator, all we were able to eat was a bag of chips from a convenience store that we nearly got frostbite walking to. I booked this hotel for the restaurants and room service, and they were not serving their menus and when they were open we waited 4 hours for our orders which still came in incorrectly. They were severely underprepared in every way and I felt trapped. Staff was rude and unhelpful my entire stay. I was not even helped with my luggage. I was also charged an additional fee upon checkin that I was not previously aware of and will take 5 business days to come off of my account. I am requesting a full refund as this was in no way a vacation, as intended. I have never felt more trapped or unwelcome.

I like that the property had smart rooms however it was hard to learn what controlled the lamp in the corner. That was frustrating. Over Easy was a great experience. There's a speakeasy which is super fun and hipstery. The valet takes forever. Good Downtown location. Staff was good however not everyone at the front desk knows how to look up a reservation.

Staff & service were top notch!!! Great location very easy to get around town.

Front desk staff, with the exception of a couple of people

Should have known there would be problems when it took twenty minutes to valet park. Upon check in we were told they just gave away their last room. They stated they were overbooked and several rooms had a/c issues and could not be occupied. I explained the the manager that this reservation was made in APRIL, four months ago! She was very condescending and unprofessional asking if we wanted to see and/or stay in a room without air conditioning. Since it was 100 degrees yesterday this was unacceptable. We were offered a room two blocks away and did what felt like a walk of shame in the heat with our luggage. This hotel was booked for it's mid century appeal and we had tickets for a music show in the Statler Ballroom. We checked into the Hotel Indigo (they were amazing and very accommodating) and walked back to the Statler for the show. The staff at the Statler needs to remember they are in the hospitality business and smile. The degree of apathy was stunning. Cash only bar in the venue, broken fixtures in the men's room, empty paper by 9pm in the ladies room, beautiful patio with red stains on the seating cushions that included a view of boxes stacked floor to ceiling topped with an igloo cooler in a conference room. I could literally feel Mr Hilton spinning in his grave. This hotel could be an amazing gem in Dallas, however nobody that works there cares.

Friendly people at check in. Overall a great place to stay, if I were to go back to Dallas I would stay here again. Loved the rainfall shower and the updated room. The pool was really nice but a little small.

the hotel was a great place to stay, the staff at the restaurants and bars was the only complaint from our group

We loved it! Awesome room, the rooftop bar was fun and not terribly crowded during the day. Valet was slow, I recommend using the link to request your car before you actually leave your room (or 15-20 minutes before you really need to leave). Valet also tried to charge my friend $15 even though it was $5/hour and he had only been there a little over an hour. Other than that, we loved our stay and would definitely return!
