During a weekend stay looking for an apartment for our daughter to move to the area, the staff at Dallas Marriott las colinas made the entire stay simply wonderful! Many thanks to Gabby, Dylon, Jordan, Alberto, Jose and Juan all of whom were warm, friendly and professional!
Stayed here for a football game at the AT&T Stadium. Hotel was close to everything, food, shopping, etc. Hotel has a nice restaurant, an indoor pool and plenty of parking. Would stay here again. Services was great!
Amazing staff, beautiful property, cozy and clean rooms, awesome pillows and a pleasure to stay every time I come here! Marriott is the only property I will stay with. Always Consistent and exceptional.
My most recent visit to this Marriott exceeded my expectations thanks to Febby at the front desk. She not only volunteered to sift through my profile to ensure I recieved my points, she proactively worked with her management to ensure my billing statements met my needs.
We have met the friendliest staff. They made us feel very welcome! From check-in to concierge to bar / dining everyone was so friendly and helpful. Brian the chef went above and beyond! We are looking forward to our return trip I September!
The service and food was great. Room was great with all the standard amenities. Very conveniently located - close to airport and was close to my work. Breakfast is not complimentary unless you pay for it or have gold/platinum membership.
Typical business Marriott, but with truly excellent service. Very friendly restaurant, bar, front desk staff. Fitness center is small, but hotel is on a man made lake with a path. Overall good value and convenient location.
We stayed at this hotel on Dallas for two days and we found our stay comfortable.I actually stayed at Marriott because I was offered good discount because of my participation in marathon. I was very much surprised to know that there was no refrigerator in the room as they were running short of of it and I was put on a waiting list. Marriott is a prestigious group worldwide and it was surprising to know that they are not having enough stock of it. It was provided next day on request. Location is extremely good and rest of the things were nice.
From the time of my evening arrival, when my confirmed room was unavailable, (I had to wait 45 minutes to get a clean room!) to the poorly cooked steak in the restaurant, to my DIRTY ROOM (it had the previous person's trash in there!) to the lack of NEW toiletries in the bathroom...IT WAS AWFUL!!!! The hotel manager did offer me 7,500 additional reward points for my inconvenience, but REALLY?! I didn't sleep well, was charged for my HORRIBLE DINNER that I returned to the waitress, and literally have never been so disgusted with a hotel stay in my life! I will NEVER return there and suggest that noone does! Poor excuse for a Marriot. I felt like I was staying in a low budget motel. I will definitely be sure to use my SPG membership when returning to Irving for business.
A visit to the Dallas area we decided to stay in the suburbs. Quite a bit of construction going on near the property during the time there. Hotel presentation was nice. Lobby clean. Valet if you wanted, but you could certainly find self parking. Didn't bother with the restaurant/bar... as there were many in the area. Not much activity going around the hotel, in the hotel, and about the hotel. Could hear people passing by room if they were talking. Room needed to be upkept... seemed a bit overused. Shower plastic curtain had mold. Nice view of lake from my window. The actual city this hotel is located is Irving, which is about a twenty minute drive to downtown Dallas. Overall.... like my title states... not an "Irving" Berlin by any name... but no attempt to be one either. Probably not come back to this property.
