Very good service
We enjoyed every part of this resort. The people that worked there are the best. The resort room is clean and comfortable. The facilities on the resort are fantastic We are planning to return there on our next trip to this great area
We love the convenience of the location to the bay and ocean as well as the close amenities. Rooms were worn down and kitchen was dirty. Restaurants was good good but very pricy. Took the paddle wheeler trip and it was disappointing as it didn’t tour around anywhere. It went to the end hotel dock and hung out in the middle and came back. Won’t do that again.
Older rooms. Booked a garden view room and was “upgraded” to a bay view which was actually a view of the parking lot. Room was dark and there was broken glass and trash on the pathway out front. Notified the front desk and was promptly switched to a “tower” room which was spacious and bright, had a small kitchenette and balcony. Still older with some peeling paint and musty. Overall served our needs, did not spend much time in the room and the property, including pool and private bayside beach is lovely. Only one option for food but served at the restaurant, pool and airstream coffee spot—definitely will need to branch out for a longer stay. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Private beaches were a nice change from the normal experiences when visiting San Diego.

Property is LOVELY and well taken care of. Lots of activities on site. Extra clean big rooms with kitchen, & manicured beach with comfortable outdoor furniture . Staff is kind and respectful. Ample well-lit parking. Superb security. Great centralized area. Only drawback was active construction on the dock, but not a deterrent. We would stay here again , and most likely will.
Great location and property
Beautiful place & the staff was friendly & helpful. 10 minute walk to the ocean beach & lively boardwalk. As pool was being repaired during the week, transportation provided to “sister” hotel nearby. Good food. Overall, wonderful stay.
