Was flying in late and it was close to airport. Wasn't the prettiest place I've stayed but it served its purpose and the staff was friendly.

Check-in was fine, room was fine for the price. As I settled in I realized there was a distinct and constant smell of old cigarette smoke and chlorine. I was concerned I left wearing that smell in the morning, because I could still smell it. In the morning as I was getting ready to visit a client, I realized there was no hair dryer. I went to the desk to notify them and the clerk didn't seem to eager to help. Twenty minutes later he arrived at my room with a hair dryer. Then I noticed there was no iron. You can imagine how important these things are when you're on a work-related trip. It wasn't worth it to go through dealing with the unhappy front desk clerk and waiting another 20 minutes so I made the best of my wrinkled outfit and left, never to return again if I am ever in Charlotte.

Our experience began with the card programmer being broken and unable to get a room key because it had to be "fixed" first. Then once in our room we found that the shower had mold in it, a hole in the wall, and looked as if it had not been cleaned from the previous occupants. The room had a terrible odor of cigarette smoke even though it was a non smoking room. Night two was not any better... the whole floor smelt of marijuana and the noise level was ridiculous. When we asked for towels from the front desk instead of bringing them to us, they had us follow a guy down a hall and into the actual laundry/ staff area to retrieve them... that is unacceptable...

I always stay at this hotel. Always clean. Pleasant employees, close to shopping centers, quiet.

Went there in march fell in love with hotel. Went back again in july. Easy to get around from hotel.

Had to book at the last minute. Friendly staff, clean and cozy. The bar in the lobby didn't hurt either!!

Front desk staff were welcoming, breakfast was more then you normally get at an expensive hotel, friendly staff, nice size rooms, nearby malls and restaurants.. i enjoyed my stay!

Very handy location. Entrance, lobby, and common sitting/meeting area looked sharp. Two desk tops available. Internet access in the room. Room clean but smelled stuffy and heavily perfumed. I wish rooms had an option to bring in some fresh air from outside.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean. The breakfast was good and they had plenty of choices! The only downfall was being able to hear everything going on in the hallways.

When, I got to the hotel there was a power outage, no back up generator. However, I was able to get my room. But, I wind up carrying my purse, laptop and my luggage to 3 flight of stairs. Needless, to say the man who was guiding me to the hallway did not offer to help me. I was lucky, I had a mini flashlight in my purse. Ten minutes later, the lights came back on. Rest of stay was ok. Decent staff overall, with exception of the house keeping staff could stand for some improvements. Almost all the time, I had to go to the front desk to get towels, wash cloth etc.. Also, if you have a noisy mini refrigerator. You will not be getting any sleep, because it's right across your bed. So, I didn't get any sleep. Design of the room was cramp. Interior of the hotel, very old and outdated. Shower, not so great. Shower knob, just horrible. Water would not shut off, drip all night. They do have a good shuttle service. Breakfast was alright.

Easy one night stay, reliable internet, simple room, and good breakfast.

Worst hotel I've ever seen! Nasty and unsafe. Drug and prostitution activity inside of the hotel. I will never use this travel site again, because their website stated this hotel was a three star hotel! They charged me $73 for a $25 / pay-by-the-hour motel!

not a bad hotel for the money. Close to downtown. Breakfast was very nice more to choice from then usual. The room it self was also very clean only thing missing was a microwave. The people at front desk were not very friendly. I would stay again front desk should take a class in being more friendly.

The room was not as clean as I am used to. There was mold in the bathroom, the shower head cover was coming off and the room was really hot when we first got there. We had to keep getting our key reset for our room as well. The breakfast was good and the other guests were great. I don't know if I would stay there again or not.

The venue advertised High speed WiFi which was non exitant in my room location. Also, several other guests had the same issues. I brought it to their attention promptly and even called the tech support # and there was no no resolve. I was there on business and unable to have the access that I required. Victor Quarterman

I was looking for a basic home base, rather than a resort, so I rated the QIC above average on the basis of its convenience to the airport (10-15 min) and shopping (mostly Home Depot and downtown). The breakfast was basic but abundant and the housekeeping staff was very good.

economical hostelry. generic breakfasts, but decent coffee. spotty wi-fi in some rooms, but lobby signal is excellent and speed more than adequate. rooms basic, but cleaning crew is excellent. They accomodate pets.

Not a good hotel to stay at, the room was damp, smalled, and the blankets look old and nasty. The area is not the best eather, a van was broken into that evening. Breakfest was nasty, glad the wife was not with me she would have never stayed there. One night, and that's she worte, will never stay there again.

This hotel was very guest friendly, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The morning I checked out, one employee was very helpful in making sure I got to the Lynx Light Rail station. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone. Although it was an "older" hotel, it was definitely kept new and modern. To the staff: Great job! Thank you.

AMAIZING FROM THE AMBER @ THE COUNTER @ ARRIVAL TO THE HOUSEKEEPING STAFF,THE ATTENTION NOT JUST TO MY SELF BUT TO OTHER HOTEL GUESTS THE BEST HOTEL BREACKFAST EVERY DAY HOME MADE WAFFELS CLEAN ROOM AND GREETING ILL DEFINITLY TRY AND ASK FOR THIS LOCATION AS I TRAVEL EVERY TWO MONTHS TO SEE MY 5 YEAR OLD SON IN CHARLOTTE
